📣 ✨ UNFORGETTABLE TRIP ✨ 📣 WEEK / SETTIMANA #118// Sunny Bike Ride

Oggi la voglia di studiare era pari a zero. Dopo ore passate davanti ai libri, mi sembrava di impazzire. Fortuna che fuori c’erano 12 gradi con un bel sole! Un’occasione troppo ghiotta per non approfittarne: ho preso la bici e sono uscito per un giro di 30 km.

Il percorso? Beh, diciamo che non era proprio da cartolina. Strade tangenziali trafficate, auto che sfrecciavano di fianco e panorami poco entusiasmanti.

Insomma, niente laghi alpini o boschi fiabeschi, ma almeno ero fuori a prendere aria e a muovermi un po’.
E poi, la sorpresa del giorno: lungo il tragitto ho trovato un piccolo recinto con degli alpaka! Non me l’aspettavo proprio. Loro, tranquilli, a brucare l’erba, mentre io mi fermavo per scattare una foto. Probabilmente mi hanno guardato chiedendosi cosa ci facesse un ciclista in mezzo a quel nulla.

Devo dire che questa bici mi sta dando delle belle soddisfazioni. Sì, ha dieci anni sulle spalle, ma ai tempi era un top di gamma e per me lo è ancora. Il telaio in carbonio con inserti Zertz assorbe le vibrazioni in maniera eccellente, permettendomi di pedalare senza problemi anche su strade sconnesse. E poi, da vero perfezionista, ho aggiunto un reggisella in carbonio per migliorare ulteriormente il comfort. Con questa configurazione posso stare in sella per ore senza sentire troppo la fatica.

In conclusione, non sarà stato il giro più bello della mia vita, ma sono contento di aver preso la bici e di essermi concesso un po’ di movimento. Ora posso tornare a studiare con la mente più libera… o forse cucinarmila cena e rimandare ancora un po’! Ahaha!

Heute hatte ich absolut keine Lust zu lernen. Nach Stunden vor den Büchern hatte ich das Gefühl, den Verstand zu verlieren. Zum Glück waren es draußen angenehme 12 Grad mit Sonnenschein! Eine perfekte Gelegenheit, um rauszugehen: Ich schnappte mir mein Fahrrad und machte eine 30 km lange Tour.

Die Strecke? Nun ja, sagen wir mal, sie war nicht gerade malerisch. Viel befahrene Landstraßen, Autos, die an mir vorbeirasten, und keine wirklich beeindruckende Landschaft. Keine idyllischen Bergseen oder verwunschenen Wälder – aber wenigstens war ich an der frischen Luft und konnte mich ein wenig bewegen. Und dann die Überraschung des Tages: Auf dem Weg entdeckte ich ein kleines Gehege mit Alpakas! Damit hatte ich überhaupt nicht gerechnet. Während sie entspannt grasten, hielt ich an, um ein Foto zu machen. Wahrscheinlich fragten sie sich, was ein Radfahrer mitten im Nirgendwo zu suchen hatte.

Ich muss sagen, dass ich mit meinem Fahrrad sehr zufrieden bin. Klar, es ist zehn Jahre alt, aber damals war es ein Spitzenmodell – und für mich ist es das immer noch. Der Carbonrahmen mit Zertz-Einsätzen absorbiert Vibrationen hervorragend und sorgt für ein angenehmes Fahrgefühl, selbst auf unebenen Straßen. Und weil ich Perfektionist bin, habe ich mir noch eine Carbon-Sattelstütze gegönnt, um den Komfort weiter zu verbessern. Mit dieser Ausstattung kann ich stundenlang fahren, ohne dass es unangenehm wird.

Fazit: Es war vielleicht nicht die schönste Tour meines Lebens, aber ich bin froh, dass ich rausgegangen bin und mich bewegt habe. Jetzt kann ich mit freiem Kopf weiterlernen... oder mir erst einmal einen Kaffee machen und noch ein bisschen aufschieben!

Today, I had absolutely no motivation to study. After hours stuck with my books, I felt like I was losing my mind. Luckily, it was a pleasant 12 degrees outside with sunshine! A perfect opportunity to get out: I grabbed my bike and went for a 30 km ride.

The route? Well, let’s just say it wasn’t exactly scenic. Busy country roads, cars speeding past me, and no truly impressive landscapes. No idyllic mountain lakes or enchanted forests – but at least I was getting some fresh air and movement. Then, the surprise of the day: I came across a small enclosure with alpacas! I definitely wasn’t expecting that. While they peacefully grazed, I stopped to snap a picture. They were probably wondering what a cyclist was doing in the middle of nowhere.

I must say, I’m really satisfied with my bike. Sure, it’s ten years old, but back then, it was top of the line – and for me, it still is. The carbon frame with Zertz inserts absorbs vibrations incredibly well, giving me a comfortable ride even on rough roads. And since I’m a bit of a perfectionist, I also got myself a carbon seat post to further enhance the vibration absorption. With this setup, I can ride for hours without discomfort.

Conclusion: It may not have been the most beautiful ride of my life, but I’m glad I went out and got some exercise. Now I can go back to studying with a clear head... or maybe make myself a coffee and procrastinate a little longer!
