Ci sono notizie in cui, casualmente, mi imbatto che mi fanno perdere ogni speranza nel futuro del genere umano.
Mi colpiscono particolarmente quando di mezzo c'e' uno sportivo, visto che e' anche con lo sport che, nella vita, mi sono guadagnato il pane.

Parlo di Roberto Cazzaniga pallavolista di livello, ex nazionale, oggi 44enne ma ancora in attivita'.
Due fanciulle gli avrebbero estorto in 13 anni una cifra fra i 500 ed i 700 mila euro.
Le due donne una residente a Vimercate e l'altra nel cagliaritano avrebbero fatto credere al pallavolista di essere fidanzato con una modella brasiliana, Maya Mancini. una modella che non e' mai esistita.
Cioe' il Cazzaniga ha inviato denaro per 13 anni a questa modella inesitente senza mai averla vista in quanto, appunto mai esistita.

Una delle due fanciulle, la sarda Valeria Satta era la voce, si fingeva Maya, l'altra la Passero "amica" del giocatore ha messo in piedi questa love story telefonica durata appunto 13 anni.
La Passero per rendere il raggiro credibile mandava al Cazzaniga la foto di una modella vera, Alessandra Ambrosio, che ovviamente era ignara di cio' che stava accadendo.
Gli veniva chiesto continuamente denaro per la cura di gravissime patologie della modella, pagare le spese mediche, visite specialistiche ed interventi chirurgici.
Ovviamente tutto finto...ed il Cazzaniga pagava.

L'inesistente modella parlava di situazioni di indigenza famigliare dovuta a conti correnti bloccati per una situazione ereditata dalla morte dei...bisnonni.
Parliamo di 1400 transazioni economiche in 13 anni, ricariche postepay e bonifici dal 2001 al 2008 alle due truffatrici.
Il tutto senza mai vedere neanche una volta la "fidanzata".

Nel 2022 la guardia di finanza ha sequestrato alle due ladrone 74 mila euro.
Ora le due sono accusate di truffa aggravata.
Ora....va ben tutto...i social e quello che volete voi ma come e' possibile caderci con tutte le scarpe in una situazione simile, mandare tutti quei soldi ad una sconosciuta che ti sta' prendendo per il culo senza mai averla vista neanche una volta?
La marchetta meno faticosa e piu' redditizia della storia.

Obviously everything was fake... and Cazzaniga paid.

The non-existent model spoke of situations of family poverty due to blocked bank accounts for a situation inherited from the death of her... great-grandparents.
We are talking about 1400 economic transactions in 13 years, Postepay top-ups and bank transfers from 2001 to 2008 to the two scammers.
All this without ever seeing the "girlfriend" even once.

In 2022, the Guardia di Finanza seized 74 thousand euros from the two thieves.
Now the two are accused of aggravated fraud.
Now.... everything is fine... social media and whatever you want but how is it possible to fall for it hook, line and sinker in a situation like this, sending all that money to a stranger who is taking the piss out of you without ever having met her even once?
The least tiring and most profitable prank in history.
