Mustard is an oil-bearing dicotyledonous plant. Mustard seeds are eaten as a spice after meals. Also many delicious dishes are cooked with mustard seeds. Mustard leaves are eaten as a vegetable. Mustard is available all year round. Mustard is cultivated commercially in several districts of Bangladesh. Mustard flowers are yellow in color. And its trees are 10-20 cm tall. Flowering occurs within 1-2 months of planting Then the seeds are from the flowers.
Mustard is used for various purposes. Oil produced from mustard seeds is very popular in rural areas. Mustard is eaten as a spice. It is fun to eat fried mustard seeds. Mustard flowers can also be eaten. In many places, mustard flowers are cooked and eaten with eggs Mustard seedlings are eaten as vegetables in small condition.
Mustard flowers have 3 petals. This flower is not a big one. They are bright yellow in color. Mustard flowers are very fragrant. The fragrance of mustard can be felt by passing by the field.
My aunt planted a mustard plant in a tub on the roof of her house. I have collected the pictures from there.
