Hi people,

Hope you are fine! So glad to write again and share our travel moments and the uniqueness of the beautiful island named Mauritius.

A unique moment in time, that moment when the plane takes off and you are seated by the window, discovering the world and catching pictures of the striking view below; these feelings are some of the reasons why we want to travel and experience some of the best travel moments that will be forever stamped in our hearts.

Today we are going to share 3 of our UNIQUE & UNFORGETTABLE moments on the beaches on the island.

1: "It's your special day - get out there & celebrate"!!!!!!!!

That's what we've done...Quinn had one of the best beach birthday party ever with a SPECIAL birthday cake:-) done by her friends.On the picture below, you will notice that the cake was made up sand and corals....WE LOVED IT!!!!

2:   "Dear Santa, all we want for christmas is BLUE water, SOFT sand & WARM weather!!!!!!!!!

We choose BLUE christmas (blue lagoon on a tropical island) instead of WHITE christmas (snow and freezing climate in France) :-)

If you never tried to build a snowman at the beach, PLEASE DO IT !!!!! You will love this experience and children at the beach will stare at you as if you are santa claus and yessss they will come to you for sure!!!!!! lol.

3: A Paradise next to the Paradise!!!!

We discovered Benitiers Island while doing the dolphins watch outing! A PARADISE; It is a 2 kilometers long island along the south west coast of Mauritius. When we arrived, we strolled the island while the cooks finished the preparation of the barbecue. We met the local people selling artisanal souvenirs. If you read our last blog, you will know that we love local food and specially local drinks:-) We also met a polite guy who was selling artisanal rhums with differents flavours and guess what; TASTING WAS FREE lol. We managed to walk back an hour later and we had a delicious menu consisting of seafood and fish, grilled kebabs, chicken, sausages, garlic bread, salads. Dessert; Banana flambé. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Bénitiers Island; A MUST SEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

One thing's for sure though: travelling is certainly the best thing you can ever do.When you travel, you are right there and then, people don't have your past to hold against you.The more you read, the more you will learn.The more things you will know, the more places you'll discover and experience unique moments.
