Iceland Hiking

Hi Steemit friends!

This is from one of my first hiking trips in Iceland. It’s an area about 20-30 minutes outside of Reykjavík. We hiked all the way across to the distant mountain. We climbed over that to find a lake on the other side. We ate lunch there and came all the way back.

One thing I love most about the country side is the areas covered with moss. There was a huge stretch of it. It was about 20cm thick and and make for a great place to relax and watch the clouds pass by.

There is also a lake off to the right of this photo. There was a single building by it and a person on a jet ski. Zipping around.
