I managed to catch the sunrise moment on the morning of the March equinox a few hours ago. This idyllic tourist destination is called Robberg beach in the town of Plettenberg Bay.

Plett, as it's known by the locals, is one of the most beautiful hidden or unknown holiday towns. You might say it's the topmost gem of a seaside town, the world class home of the fortunate few.

I made an effort to get out the door early so that I could make it to the beach by 6.30am and catch the sunrise moment. And although it only lasted a moment, it was a memorable one.

The equinox is, after all, a special occasion that only occurs twice a year, providing us with a juncture point of equal day and night. It feels to me like the real new year's day.

I'm writing and posting this blog post using the Travelfeed app on my phone, like a true digital nomad on tour of the sweetest hotspots on the planet.

I recommend adding this Plettenberg Bay seaside resort to your travel itinerary. You'll be glad that you did. This region is filled with world class natural beauty. The long white sandy beaches are clean and pristine. The sea is warm most of the time and the climate is mild throughout the year.

A particularly high tide with heavy swell marks the equinox, much like a Spring tide, although it’s autumn.

I'll keep this post short, since writing on the phone is somewhat cumbersome. Nevertheless this seaside paradise is well worth highlighting. I want to share this treasure of a destination with you, because we all deserve to appreciate the beauty of the planet on which we live.

This is a true nature lover's paradise. I'm in bliss just basking in the beautiful and healthy environment and I'm sure you'll love it too. So please feel inspired to add Plett to your travel schedule. This region of the Cape south coast of Africa is a hidden gem. Today I'm walking on sunshine.

Hi julianhorack I just read your last post about Arniston. I know it well. Spent many a holiday there as my family has a house there. I currently live in Ireland. Do a bit of bitcoin trading as well. You may like some of my photography. Cheers Gavin.
