What is the plant in front of the cotyledon?
It's Trailing Jade, aka Weeping Jade. Not a crassula though: it's Kleinia petraea, that was previously Senecio jacobsenii, native to East Africa
More renaming!
It makes sense in this case, Senecio was huge and had everything from daisies to succulents lumped in there
Beautiful! I love the hard-grown look
Thank you :) I also like the natural look, that's how they tend to look growing in habitat
It is a privilege to be able to grow these beautiful plants in ways that match their native conditions
Sometimes succulents growing in offices make me feel sad
My worst is cacti with stick-on flowers and spray-painted cacti
There should be a special place in hell for people who do that. Sadly, it's also true that lazy and ignorant people do buy them.
Such people should just get plastic plants. The fakes look pretty good these days
Haha I have heard of people being fooled and doing house-sitting and telling the owner that they watered the plants and the owner's response was "Huh?"
