First blockchain-based job platform (Part 1)

A lot of work is being done in various sectors to create employment for common people all over the world. The problem of unemployment is a big and major problem for many countries. A big gap can be observed in this case. On the one hand, there are many job aspirants and on the other hand, there are many job providers who are not getting enough qualified candidates. To bridge this gap mainly job platforms have been created which coordinate these two groups together.

But traditional job creation sites have several problems that can be largely addressed by innovative models. There should be some decentralized system so that students and young professionals can get job opportunities in short term and from that demand and urge we saw a milestone event in 2016 in this sector where decentralized and blockchain based job platform was first launched called BITJOB. This development came at a time when the gig economy was expanding. BitJob was not merely a technological advancement; it represented a bold effort to transform the way job seekers accessed short-term job opportunities. I will share some things about this platform with you continuously.

When a platform is centralized there are some middlemen. Some costs are incurred for middleman and management. These costs are sometimes made up through advertising and sometimes these costs are collected from job performers and providers. It also creates the problem of transparency. Because manipulation is possible on both sides since the entire process is controlled by a centralized authority. Decentralization will therefore have a significant impact on the sector by reducing costs, saving time and eliminating the hassles of manipulation. This platform was originally launched using such a vision, which I will discuss with you in detail in the next few posts.
