Intro
Tron Fan Club is a specialized community where you can only write about certain topics. Since this is a technology-based writing community, most of the topics here are already written on the internet. In that case, we have to read some articles and write them in our own way. And such articles are basically called re-right articles.
Many times, we collect historical info, literature, white paper etc from the internet. Sometimes we go to review a game, wallet or exchange. In that case, we still have to collect information from those sites. This means Unique writing is difficult here due to the speciality of this community.
But the problem is that many people are not following the general rules for re-writing articles. So, I am trying to give you some guidelines on what kind of rules you have to follow in case of a rewritten article.
Rules about Rewrite Articles
1. First of all, the websites from where you are collecting data must be trusted and authentic. Data from any social or unreliable site cannot be taken as a reference. The source of all the sites from where you are inspired to write your post must be mentioned as a source in your post.
2. Secondly, you can take up to 25% of the writing from sourced websites but cannot copy directly. You can gain knowledge by studying those data sources, then write them well based on your gathered knowledge in your own words. Quote the directly collected information in inverted commas. The remaining 75% or above must be your own writing and unique. This 75%+ must be your own thoughts, knowledge, ideas and/or experiences.
3. Thirdly, collecting text from a single or couple of sources and paraphrasing it to avoid plagiarism is not acceptable at all. You cannot rewrite based on only others’ original text. Such kinds of activities will be treated as spamming and abuse. Because there is nothing of your own here. You have simply distorted the content of others into your own words which may not be found in plagiarism checker but would be considered plagiarism and copyright infringement.
4. When you review games, websites, software, wallets, etc., share your own feelings, experiences, opinions about it. Simply highlighting information from a website will not be treated as a re-write or review.
5. You must follow the copyright license and rules while collecting & mentioning data from any copyrighted sources.
