One of the most important sector in the world that I value so much is the healthcare industry as that is where life's of humanity is been sustained. It is highly necessary that the data and information of patient were really important to be kept secured. Recently, one of the technologies that I have actually noticed is having massive waves and values in the healthcare industry is the Blockchain technology.

Even though most of the time, we always limit the importance of Blockchain technology to the aspect of crypto but I have come to discover that it is really more than that. Blockchain over the years have help to keep transactions on and data's safe by masking use of these decentralised nature. The fact that it works on the decentralised nature has been something quite making the Blockchain to be secured.

There are quite a lot of security challenges that happens in the healthcare which I will like us to pay attention to actually. The number one are the patient records, data and information and which includes stuff like their personal data. Cyber attacks on the healthcare industry have been so rapid and so the healthcare data are no longer safe. Blockchain has come to the picture of addressing those challenges and helps to provide a more secured way of keeping the patient data and at the same time quite transparent.

I believe there are certain ways that we can enhance the data security in the healthcare industry making use of Blockchain. One of it is what I called the immutability. Over the years, one of the strong advantages that Blockchain boost is the immutability. Immutability means when a particular data enters the Blockchain, it can no longer be changed or altered. By doing so, it can protect the data that even if all those hackers entered, they could not be able to alter those data.

The other way is the decentralised data storage. This will help to actually enhance the security to be secured just like I said and not only secured but also transparent for the whole to see. It is really quite so important because you are able to see data and easily locate them.

As I conclude, I am so sure that the future of the Blockchain technology is really massive and this is just the beginning. We will see the way Blockchain technology will change the healthcare industry in years to come and I am so confident about this. Even though the healthcare industry is still faces with lot of challenges right now, but I am so sure that it will definitely overcome this and it is just a matter of time before we begin to see the Manifestation actually.
