Ethical Challenges in AI Development

Many years ago, there are something's that I am really witnessing right now in lots of sectors and Industry that if you have told me many years ago, I will have deny it. I mean in major sectors like the finance, the entertainment ans even the health sectors. So much have changed from what we used to see it decades ago and that is thanks to Artificial intelligence innovation. AI have successfully able to bring a lot of transformation and changes beyond what we can imagine of.

Not only does it bring a lot of opportunities, but it has been able to bring another perspective to which problems have been solved all across those sectors I mentioned above. Recently, in those sectors, there have been a major issue or concern that has been associated to the use of artificial intelligence in those sectors I talked about and one of the concern is the ethical concerns which I will be talking about today.

The truth is, show lot of people are raising issues of bias and discrimination that is associated to the use of AI as many of us know works on data and so if those datas works on discrimination also, it will affect the end result of it at the end of the day. And that is why there have been strict policy out in place to actually enhance the decision making process using AI in those sectors.

That is not even all. Another ethical concern that has been raised is how sure are those datas been used by AI to enhance their decision making secured. To which extent are those datas secured? This has also been raising massive concerns because data is something that is very prone and can easily be hacked and manipulated for fraudulent activities.

This leads to difficulty in the aspect of accountability and transparency. Most people have the issue with the decision making by AI as they feel it is not really transparent enough or let me say accountable enough and probably if any decision have issue, there is nobody that can be held responsible for it. I have always tell people that most of the time, we always focus on the benefits of AI to our world. But the issue is, the same way it has so many opportunities or benefits, the same way it has a lot of disadvantages and one of it is the aspect of the Job Displacements in the nearest future.

I am so afraid that in the future, we will have more people losing their job because AI will take over and this will have negative effects on the economic impact most especially because of the job loss that will be created. Presently now, I don't actually think anything can really be done about it but I am really optimistic that a solution will be provided in the nearest future.
