Greetings to all and sundry on this platform, I welcome you all once again to my blog and today I would be submitting my answers to the first paperwork given by our tutor @engrsayful. I am very grateful and happy to be part of this exciting community and also the class as well. So far, we have sat for two lessons, and we have been able to cover three lecture topics.

Without much ado, I would like to go straight to my assignment given by my tutor.

1. Write your idea on the post within 50-100 words

The above post link talks about how to convert Trons to Tron Power i.e., staking of Trons. Before one can vote a witness, he/she must possess a Tron Power or must first convert the Tron to Power. It should be noted that in order to vote for a SR, we must first stake our Trons token after which we can go ahead and vote with the staked tokens.

In voting, we should consider certain factors such as, the ranking, reward distribution, APR, and productivity. Before all these are done, we need to get our Tron-link wallet connected.

2. How much TRX a SR will get as mining reward in a day?

image.png

From the daily reward plan by @engrsayful indicated that, SR gets 20% of the vote reward (160 TRX) and 20% of the block producing reward (16 TRX). From calculations made, 20% of 160 TRX =12 TRX whilst 20% of 16 TRX = 3.2 TRX.

This indicates that per day, a Super Representative would get (12 + 3.2) TRX = 15.2 TRX. This indicates that in a day, a Super Representative would get (12 + 3.2) TRX = 15.2 TRX. We should note that the staked TRX cannot be powered down for three days and this is because it has been locked within this period.

3. What are the benefits of gaining bandwidth and energy?

image.png

Bandwidth and energy are one of the most required parameters when transferring TRX tokens or any other tokens such as USDT, etc on Tron blockchain.

BandwidthEnergy
Regular transactions on Tron blockchain consumes bandwidthSmart contracts transactions consume energy
Freezing, Unfreezing and transfer of TRX consumes bandwidthEnergy can also be obtained by freezing TRX
You receive daily complimentary Bandwidth when consumedNo daily complementary energy is given
One does not need to pay gas price when performing transaction on TRX blockchain if you have bandwithEnergy reduces the cost fee when performing a smart contract transaction.

That's all for my assignment today. I am very excited to be part of this course and I would like to say a very big thank you to our tutor @engrsayful for having time and lecturing us on the basic of Tron blockchain.

The weight is reduced because of the lack of Voting Power. If you vote for me as a witness, you can get my little vote.

You had explained and answered all questions very well. All the best for your upcoming success 😃
