SLC | S21W2 | Introduction to Logo Design.

Hello dear friends how are you all? I hope everyone is well by God's grace. I am also fine by the grace of God. Today I am here with a contest entry post. The ongoing contests for the second week of the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 20 are excellent. The learning challenge organized by @lhorgic is, SLC | S21W2 | Introduction to Logo Design. I am ready to participate here with pleasure. Let's begin.

Discuss Logo design based on your understanding about the topic.

Logo design represents an organization or a brand. Having an attractive logo plays a very useful role in representing a company or any brand. A company's logo design is designed in harmony with their activities and their name. The main goal of designing a logo is to present a brand easily. A brand logo or company logo is designed primarily to present to the general public. Every brand has its own logo which helps to identify them among people.

A logo design should be done in such a way that it is visually appealing. Being visually appealing alone will not get your brand recognized. So the logo should be designed in such a way that it evokes an imaginary image that is visually appealing and consistent with the brand name. Basically, the name of a company or brand can be understood by looking at the logo. It is not enough to understand the name only by looking at the logo, but by looking at the logo it should be understood that the name of the company or brand, their products, etc. Basically the work of a logo is to show all the images of a brand through the logo itself.

Discuss extensively the role and impact of logo to a brand.

The role of logo in a brand is very important. In the modern era, a logo is a visual art or graphic design to represent people. A logo represents a brand. Logos are designed primarily to convey brand identity. Logo design is of immense importance in making a brand known to the public. Logos also play an important role in representing the brand as a public figure. Logos play a huge role in marketing a brand and enhancing their promotional campaigns. Also the brand logo plays a role in making the consumers aware and ensuring that the original products are delivered to the consumers.

A business brand logo is the center of recognition. Because of which a logo will pop into people's eyes anytime they hear the brand name. Basically the role that a logo plays for a brand is that when people hear the name of the brand, the brand logo comes to their imagination. If he sees the logo of the brand, the name of the brand comes to his imagination.A logo is basically a medium that paints an image of a brand in people's minds. It easily creates brand awareness among people.

A planned logo design unveils the brand name. It projects an image of professionalism and their activities. Creates a credible perception among people where unique products are available. In this way, the products of an advanced brand are accepted by people depending on the logo. Because trust in the well-designed logo of the brand increases the brand awareness. So I would like to say that logo plays a very important role for a brand.

Explain and demonstrate visually the do's and don't when it comes to Logo design. You can do more research to be outstanding and kindly ensure not to use my specimen logo.

There are definitely some dos and don'ts when it comes to designing a logo. There are certain principles we should avoid when designing a logo. Basically a logo design should be done in such a way that gives a clear idea about a brand. Design should be as simple and clear as possible. The logo should not contain overly enticing offers or complex designs. Complexity must be avoided in logo design as a complex logo can create a lot of embarrassment in people's minds. At the same time, if the company's logo looks complicated, it may fail to present the brand to people.

Any brand logo should be associated with brand identity. The logo attached to the brand will be an identity vehicle. But if it gets complicated it can fail to represent the brand. Logo should be consistent and should have unique and attractive aspect. These should also be avoided, that the logo design should not match with any other design. And that is why it is important to be very unique and creative while designing a logo. A logo design should be created from creative thinking in line with the brand. Below are two sample images, one nice and the other boring.

I think I have been asked to design a logo for steemit learning center. I will try to complete a design from my personal creative skills. I will use my skills to complete the logo design with enough time to present a great design. I assume a company called steemit learning center asked me to design a logo. I will create a design according to my client's needs and specifications. I have mentioned below the design that I made from my performance.

Step 1

First I took a blank page. I clicked on the + sign when I opened Canva and got a square page of my choice. Then I clicked on the Elements option.After clicking here I took a square shape. In the beginning its color was green. Then I started the next step.

Step 2

I chose a color of square shape. I clicked on the color wheel to select the color of the square shape. By clicking on the color wheel I selected a color that pleased me. I have collected the hexa code of the colors I have added. The color hexa code of the specified color is, #02321B. I designed the shape by the specified color hexa code.

Step 3

Then I will take another thin shape on top of the shape. So I clicked on Elements again. After clicking there I liked the slim long shape. This shape will play a role in the design. Anyway I thought I needed another similar shape here. So I clicked on the copy option which is marked on the display.

Step 4

I also got the next shape. Now I want to make this shape more extended and plump. Because by making it thicker, there will be a continuity of my logo design. What I am going to create is still unknown to you. Because I'm going to expand it here to make the English letter L. Anyway I extended it. After that it looks almost like the English capital letter L but there is more left. For that I have to use another shape. I again took a shape from the Elements option.

Step 5

I changed the colored shape t color. I basically adjusted the shape to the main page. So that the logo design looks clear. Anyway I expanded and showed a standard capital letter L shape. Now I will move on to the next step.

Step 6

This time I needed a round shape. For that I have to take a circular shape. I went back to the Elements option. From there I picked a circular shape. After taking the circular shape I added it to the page. But its color should be adjusted to the original page. I made it white. But for whitening I have to follow the next step.

Step 7

I made the scholarship white to make the size of the logo design more visually appealing. Now I will set it in the bottom part. It should be set so that my desired capital letter C appears. I whitewashed it and placed it in a prominent place. Now it looks like it is displaying the English capital letter C.

Step 8

I now need some interesting text to complete the logo. I am now going to reveal a bit of my logo design. With the first capital letter L I will add a text that is, EARNING. Which will be a complete word that is, LEARNING. I ended up going to the nudge option to move the text to the specified location. Next I will add ENTRE to C. Which will be a complete word that is, CENTRE.

Step 9

I now want to bring this logo of mine to a finished shape. For that I have to use the elements option again. I went back to the Elements option and took a circular ring. Inside which my entire design will be located. I will complete a complete logo design with circles. I took a circle and customized it.

Step 10

Lastly I will add the brand name. For that I have to go back to the trxt option and enter a font. I will write steemit name here. Next I want to give this text an attractive font. So I now went to the font option. Going to font options I used my favorite archivo black font.

Step 11

	In this step I have completed my design. In this step I have now added the person's name to the page as the designer. Now I think my design is complete.

Logo design final output.

That's how I got my work done. I was very focused on my work. I practice about three to four designs and then I make the design. I was very focused on creating the logo design for the Steemit Learning Center. I have tried to present clearly. I have ensured 100% creativity so it is my pleasure.
