How are all the Steemian's friends? I hope that by the grace of God, all the Steemian's friends are well. The moderator of the Steem for Lifestyle community @mahadisalim brother has organized a wonderful competition given this winter season. Competition name: 📢📢Contest: Flower Photography Week-01. Today I will share some flower photography in this wonderful competition.

White Rose:

I am starting my photography with the queen of flowers, the rose. Roses come in different colors such as red, white, pink, yellow, and black roses. But I have not seen a black rose yet. I am sharing a photograph of a white blooming rose. White roses represent tranquility and purity. The importance of white roses is very deep. This white rose is a symbol of the beginning of a new life. If someone is sick, a white rose can be given as a gift to wish for their recovery, and in some cases, white roses are used to express sadness.

Chrysanthemum:

Chrysanthemum flower Chrysanthemum is one of the most popular seasonal flowers in the world. In terms of popularity, chrysanthemum is second only to roses. Chrysanthemum is the national flower of Japan. Chrysanthemum flowers are cultivated as seasonal flowers in Bangladesh. There are different types of chrysanthemum flowers with different colors, patterns, etc. Among them, copper, yellow, golden, red, brown, purple, and green chrysanthemums are very popular. There is a high demand for chrysanthemums in the market because chrysanthemum flowers remain fresh for a long time after being picked from the tree. Therefore, chrysanthemums are suitable for home decoration, flower garlands, and bouquets.

Petunia flower:

The Petunia flower is mainly a summer and rainy season flower. However, in many regions, this flower blooms in winter as well. Petunia flowers come in different colors. For example: red, white, pink, purple, brown, and some flowers have multiple colors. There is no shortage of red, blue, purple, and pink colorful petunias to enhance the beauty of the garden in winter. The color of the petunia flower that I shared is a mixture of purple and white. I have planted purple petunia flower plants to enhance the beauty of my balcony.

Durga Jaba:

Jaba flower is a very familiar and easily available flower among Bengalis. Almost everyone has colorful and colorful jaba flower plants at home. Jaba flowers come in different varieties. This flower that I shared is known as Durga Jawa. Durga Jawa is a beautiful-looking flower. It is a flower known as Mesta Jawa/Kanta Jawa/Durga Jawa. This flower blooms in the morning. This Durga Jawa flower blooms for only one day. The color of the leaves and flowers is almost the same. There is no way to distinguish the leaves and flowers from a distance.

Marigold:

Marigold is a flower known to everyone. The popularity of Marigold flowers is so high that it is worth mentioning the position of Marigold flowers in Bengali tradition and culture. The petals of the beautiful flower are quite thick and grooved. The plant and leaves spread the fragrance of Marigold. There are five varieties of Marigold in our country such as Inca Bara Marigold, Chot China Marigold, Rakta Marigold, Desi Marigold, and Jumbo Marigold. Marigold flowers show their beauty when the dew falls in the morning. Groups of yellow, orange, rand ed Marigold flowers peek through the morning mist.

Cosmos flower:

Cosmos catches the eye from afar in the bright winter sun. Not only humans but also butterflies and insects are easily attracted by the beauty of the cosmos. A winter garden seems incomplete without the cosmos. Although it is mainly a winter flower, one or two of them can be seen blooming almost all year round. The full flowering season is from January to May. They are pink, white, purple, etc. Each flower remains fresh for a long time. Apart from the flowers, they are also unique in the beauty of their leaves. Much like carrot leaves, their leaves are divided into narrow strips. Cosmos are mainly of two types, single and double. The edges of the leaves are notched. The demand for these flowers in the market is high during winter. Cosmos flowers are 2 to 4 centimeters in size. They bloom from the beginning of winter to March. Rainy cosmos is one of the cosmos species.
