Did you know crocodiles are colour blind
Their color vision is more complex than we previously thought. Crocodiles have three types of color receptors in their eyes, which allows them to see some colors [1]. However, their color vision might be slightly weaker than humans and perhaps similar to red-green colorblindness in some people [2].
Researchers are still learning more about crocodile vision, but it's safe to say they can perceive some colors, especially at different light wavelengths underwater
