Did you know you have fewer muscles than a caterpillar

in Did You Know3 months ago

A caterpillar boasts a much higher muscle count than a human. In fact, some species of caterpillar can have around 4,000 muscles, whereas humans only have around 629.

This difference is due to their body structure and movement. Caterpillars inch along by creating waves with their numerous muscles, while our skeletons and fewer muscles allow for more complex and varied movements.
