I'M GLAD I DID NOT BREAK MY LEG
It hurt, but it could have been worse.
Honestly, I do try to be careful. Often there may be room for improvement, but disaster only needs a brief window of opportunity to strike. Thankfully, yesterday was not a tragedy for me. While working on my root cellar stairs, a concrete slab I had simply stood up on end tipped over, striking me in the shin. Of course this was a sobering reminder for me, but I share it to remind others as well. Be careful out there!
