Hey, Everyone 😍 !

If you’re about to appear in a job interview, then obviously, you’ll have to prepare some typical questions that the interviewer can ask you at the time of the interview.

“Where do you see yourself in the next five years?”

is the most common and typical question that every interviewer asks from the candidates. If you know how to answer it in the best way, you can easily grab the opportunity.

Here, I will give you the best answer to the job interview question: Where do you see yourself in five years?

There are many forms of this question, and they're all essentially asking the same thing, which is a blind prediction from you about your future.

The companies give this question in all its forms the same answer. First of all, this is a trick question like many job interview questions. It is designed for the interviewer to get the dirt on you, is designed to get you to reveal something about yourself that you don't realize you're revealing.

Several very popular and well-known job interview questions are designed to do this, and this is one of them.

Let's step back and think about this for a second. they're asking you to make a prediction about your employment future when they haven't even given you all the relevant info they have about this job opportunity.

Hidden Elimination Criteria

There is something called hidden elimination criteria, and it's impossible to know what a wrong answer would be.
Especially when you're in the dark somewhat about this job opportunity. so it's very dangerous to be talking off the cuff here.

What you don't want to do is let your guard down and give them all kinds of material that may or may not coincide with their expectations or preferences.

The more you talk, the more chances you have of being eliminated

In a job interview; there is a place in time to open up and talk a lot and give them all kinds of reasons why they should select you. But this question isn't that time; for example, it's very easy to reveal either directly or indirectly a certain want or expectation that they can't satisfy, and that would be not good.

Important Point to Ponder in a Job Interview

“conversations are better than interrogations” do you ever feel that your job interview is an interrogation? They just fire pre-written questions at you, and you just answer them in quick succession.

Often, this isn't much fun for anyone concerned. There's no flow, no rapport with the interviewer. It would be best if you turned the interrogation into a conversation.

A great way to do this is to answer the question that you're asked but then end with something like, “does that fit in with what you're looking for?”

This tends to get the interviewer talking and friendlier and giving you more useful information about their vision, expectations, and mental processes.

Also, if your answer falls short somehow, you are now aware of it, and you have the opportunity to fill in any missing elements. Of course, not every interviewer will engage in this, but often interviewers will, and you benefit.

It definitely helps to turn the interrogation into more of a conversation. so if you have a job interview, when you get asked, “where do you see yourself in five years?”

Best Answer that definitely tends to work

A good answer that tends to work well is to say:

“I expect to be advancing based on my job performance and likely taking on some new responsibilities. do you mind me asking where you see this company going in the future? what are the long-term plans for this department?”

And there you go…
