Steem Infinity Zone (SIZ) was established 4 months ago with the vision "To Educate and Empower People without Limits" on Steem Blockchain. We are making good progress and improving with each day. This purpose of this post is to guide all SIZ members about the community Content Focus area.

Community Content Focus Area

We are making this announcement to keep the community contents focused on major area that is IT and Tech. From now, all the members should be posting on IT/Tech contents which can by done through tutorials and SIZ Courses. You can start posting the Tutorials posts right away but you need to wait for our official announcement regarding SIZ Approved Tech Courses and then apply for it.

“Educating by IT/Tech Tutorials and Valuable Courses”

We expect that members will understand the community content focus through the below-mentioned guidelines. We are confident that members will share great content that will help many to learn valuable things in IT/Tech area because it is greatly diversified field. What we really want is that any new person visiting the community for the first time should get the impression that he will be learning specific skills in SIZ.

Content Members Can Share in SIZ

Members can share content focussing on IT/Tech topics in 2 ways which are Tutorials and SIZ Approved Courses.

1 - IT/Tech Tutorials

The core objective of SIZ community is to make sure people will learn some real skills. Members can share IT/Tech Tutorials with step by step guide of different areas of IT/Tech category.

The tutorials should be "How To" category where you should be posting the step-by-step guide. They should be sharing their personal experience on the specific skills so they can answer any question other people have about these tutorials.

Your post title must include "SIZ Tutorials" at the start and then your topic.

Example

• SIZ Tutorials | How to make custom posters on Pixelab
• You must use #siztutorials #steemexclusive and #learnwithsteem tags along with other tags you want to add.

2 - IT/Tech Short Courses

We understand that many people will not be able to write tutorials because they don't have enough expertise in the making tutorials. To cater this issue, we are introducing the concept of demand driven short courses in IT/Tech Field.

The concept of demand driven courses is very simple. In these short courses, members can share a specific course that has value and demand in the market in which they have expertise. This will help many people learn about a specific things about IT/Tech in an organized way.

The process to post a course is very simple where SIZ management will invite applications from members who want to start the short course of 3-4 weeks. Stay tuned for our official announcement regarding application for SIZ Courses.

The detailed requirement will be shared in the Application post where members will be required to submit an outline of their short course content that they will cover in 4 weeks.

SIZ management will review the applications and approve the courses that will be adding value to the community. After approval from SIZ management, you can start posting your courses with 1 lecture per week.

Your post title must include "SIZ Approved Course" at the start and then your topic.

Content Members Shound Not Share in SIZ

There are few content types your should not post in SIZ. We are doing this because many members started posting things that were overlapping with other communities and that content should be posted in those specific communities. We are sharing few of the content categories you should avoid posting in SIZ

1 - No Cooking Recipes

We already have Steem Foods and Steem Iron Chef communities where cooking recipes are shared. So, you should be posting your recipes in these two communities.

2 - No Diary Game Posts

We are not stopping you from posting diary game posts in SIZ. You can post a random diary but these posts will deviate the members from the real purpose of the community. So, we suggest posting diary games in other communities where most of the members are posting similar posts.

3 - No Review Posts

You should not be posting reviews because we already have Writing and Reviews community where you can do such posts.

4 - No Beauty Tips

You should not be posting Beauty Tips because we already have SteemBeauty community where you can do such posts.

5 - No Health Tips

You should not be posting Health Tips because we already have health based community where you can do such posts.

6 - No Crypto Related Posts

We already have official Steemit Crypto Academy and you should be doing crypto-related stuff in that community.

7 - No Art and Sketching Related Posts

You should not be posting Beauty Tips because we already have Visual Art community where you can do such posts.

8 - No Random Posts

We have seen few people are just posting on random topics and you should not do this from now. You should only posts tutorials or start demand driven short courses in IT/Tech Category which is very diverse.

Steem Infinity Zone is established on a solid vision and we have just refined our community purpose and content focus so that everyone has a clear mind about things they should be doing in the community. It will eventually help the community to be more useful for all the members to learn some great skills and courses.

We are thankful to all our members who have supported SIZ through their content and hope that they will understand this redefined purpose and will produce great content to make the community more useful. We are hoping for a response from @steemitblog team and @steemcurator01 about our Content Focus Initiative that is another effort to make community better and add value to steem ecosystem.
