Greetings Steemians!

It's Syed Sheham Hassan and finally, another SIZ contest of sharing memories. This will most likely be my final contest of 2021, so I'm hoping to close the year on a high note.

Joining University

The most memorable event of 2021 was being accepted into the University of Karachi's Software Engineering programme and beginning university life. It was the beginning of the year, and I experienced one of the proudest moments of my life: on that day, my name was listed in the Software Engineering merit list, following an aptitude exam for which I had studied for over a year. So that was the moment when I finally accomplished something I'd been working towards for years and began a new chapter in my life.

Then I started university, where I met new people and made countless memories. So, in the year 2021, attending and starting university was one of the happiest and most memorable moments of my life.

Exploring Steemit

Another great memory of 2021 is joining the world of Steemit. It was August and our second semester was just started. Then one of my friends, @aqsaejaz suggested me to join Steemit group created by @vvarishayy in which she was guiding newbies. At first it looked a bit weird but as the time passed,
I explore different corners of this steem
and crypto world, which I’ve never seen
before.

The joy of reading and writing post, interacting with peoples of creative mindset, participating in contest, and earning a little amount, all that fun on Steemit was unforgettable. It was also beneficial for me as it really enhanced my writing and socializing skills. Thus I’ve mentioned it as one
of memorable things of 2021, which I’ll never forget in my entire life.

Plan with Friends

Last memory I would like to share is my plan of Sheheem Shinwari restaurants with University friends at Highway,
Karachi. It was the first time I went to that restaurant and had an entire different experience. We were planning to go there for months and finally, in the mid of November, our plan was successful. I even wrote the review of that place, you can view it here.

It was a time when our second semester finals was about to start. We ordered Karahi and Handi there, the environment, the taste, the weather, and most importantly, the joy we had will be remembered forever

So these were my one of the best memories of 2021, what a rollercoaster year that was. So let’s hope that the next year will be as good as this one or even better!
