Assalamualikum, hope you guys are doing great and producing quality content on this platform. I'm here again to share a bit of my knowledge about quantum technologies.
As many of you are not aware of quantum ,let me explain it to you guys.
QUANTUM:
Quantum is a latin word used to define the quantity or amount, now in modern understanding its used for the smallest possible discrete unit of radiant energy which is equal to Planck's constant time the frequency of the associated radiation which is the smallest amount of energy. It also means sudden and significant , which refers to the increase in productivity of some action.
Let's move on to Quantum Technologies
Quantum Technology:
Its an emerging feild of physics and engineering , which deals with the study of behavior of elementary particles ie. Atoms and its subatomic particles,photons and quarks. It works on the principle of quantum physics including quantum entanglement ,quantum mechanics and quantum superposition.
I know it's a bit difficult to understand all these theories but honestly you dont need to know all about how quantum technologies works ,all you need to know is how to make use of it and taking advantages from it.
How is it influencing our world?
The use of quantum technologies is opening countless opportunities for every industry. There are unlimited methods and techniques to apply these innovative and ingenious technologies.

Quantum computers are helping health sectors in a number of ways. As quantum computers can stimulate chemical reactions it can be used in drug discoveries. It also helps maintain healthcare data and much more

Quantum Computers helps in storinghuge amount of data ,runs forecasting models efficiently and also helps in eliminating conflicting possibilities. IBM published quantum algorithms for assessing financial risks.
3. Cybersecurity
Post-quantum cryptography is an emerging technology used to maintain RSA encryption. They can break cryptography techniques . Moreover quantum key distribution (QKD) also offers code breaking abilities to protect data being shuttled online.
4.Blockchain
Most of the blockchain tech depends on quantum susceptible encryption protocols for safe and compelete transactions. QT are being used in asset trading, supply chain , security management and much more.
5. Artificial Intelligence
Quantum computer can quickly solve optimisation problems and handle massive data sets. Quantum technologies can improve AI tools like computer vision, security/ recognitions , machine translation etc

Quantum technologies will no doubt shape our future we will see an exceptional change in next 4 to 8 years . Every industry is now investing in quantum technologies because of its unlimited benefits and applications that are worth it. They will deliver highest speed for problem optimisation, it can improve the computational power of many technologies like machine learning, 5G , bullet trains, automate cars etc. ,it can handle vast amount of data and can analyze and process it according to users need . It can reduce power consumption from 100 to 1000 times , it can detect errors in hardware and software with improved time. It provide a secure mechanism to tackle the security issues.

UK has announced 1 billion euro for quantum research while US has announced $1bn for 12 new research hubs. The quantum technologies will reach $64.98 bn dollars by 2030 . Big companies like Microsoft, Google and Intel are investing huge amounts .
