Environmental dedagration is a process in which our natural environment is being compromised, therefore reducing biological diversity and the general health of the environment.
It also the disintegration of the earth through the consumption of assets for example air, water and soil and the destruction of environment and the eradication of wildlife.
Environmental Dedagration can happen naturally and also can be can by human activities. It has become one serious issue facing the earth as it may lead to unrepairable damages on the earth, which may result to the end of human existence on the earth.
The main causes of environmental Dedagration are over-population growth, modern urbanization, industralization and deforestation. Some of the other causes of environmental Dedagration are
- Land Disturbance
- Pollution
- Natural causes like storms, tidal waves, widfires, avalanches.
- Land fills
IMPACT ON HUMAN HEALTH:
Humans are at the receiving end as environmental Dedagration exposes toxic air pollutant that can lead to respiratory problems such as asthma and pneumonia in human. An alarming number of human has died as a result of this respiratory problem.OZONE LAYER DEPLETION:
When environmental Dedagration occurs, the ozone layer which protect the earth from the direct and harmful ultraviolet Ray's deplete, causing harmful radiation to the earth surfaceLOSS FOR THE TORISIM INDUSTRY:
The disintegration of our environment can be a huge loss for the tourism industry. This affect the tourism industry especially industries that rely on tourist for thirty daily livelihood. Environmental damage in form of loss of biodiversity, loss of green cover, huge land fills and water pollution can be a big blow for tourist centersLOSS OF BIODIVERSITY:
Biodiversity is an important factor which maintains the balance of the ecosystem in form of combating pollution, restoring nutrient, protecting water source and stabilizing climate. When environmental Dedagration occurs biodiversity is likely to be loosed.
- The planting of trees should be encouraged.
- Stop Deforestation
- Reduce the energy consumption levels
- Fines and punishment should be implemented for illegal dumping of refuses
- Reducing and recycling wastes, instead of buring.
