Hello my siz family, how you doing today?, I know you are doing great. Am happy to put in writing once more. Today, I will be sharing with you on Cloud computing.

Cloud computing is simply defined as the process of storing and accessing data or even programs on the internet instead of making use of the computer hard drive.

The cloud as the name implies is just as the internet itself. Cloud computing is not about your hard drive because when you decide to store data on or even turn programs from those hard drive then that is what we call local storage and computing.

Cloud computing can also be the delivery of on demand computing service that is from the applications to storage and processing power over the internet.

The reason why it is called a cloud computing is because the location of the service and the other details such as the Operating system or the hardware on which it operates are largely irrelevant to the user.

The cloud computing is just a computing model or set of technologies which permits consumers to have access to cloud services with the use of the internet.

There are some common uses of the cloud computing and they are as follows;

• FILE STORAGE:- Files stored in cloud computing can easily be accessed and edited. All you need is a sensible stable network.

• BIG DATA ANALYTICS:- Cloud computing is used in the collection and analysing of big data.

• DATA BACKUP AND ARCHIVING:- Cloud computing provides maximum data security from any unauthorized user.

• DISASTER RECOVERY:- Cloud computing helps to create a disaster recovery solution, even though some data stored in the computer hard drives get lost. But because it's also stored on cloud it can easily be recovered.

• COMMUNICATION:- Cloud computing permits people to access the cloud based communication tools such as the calendar and emails.

• SOCIAL NETWORKING:- Platforms like the Facebook, and Twitter are examples of software as a service cloud computing models.

• SOFTWARE TESTING AND DEVELOPMENT:- The cloud computing offers tools for continuous integration that makes development and testing more faster and easier.
