Hi steemians,my best regards go to @siz-official for the great contest he has been able to come up with. That is " Educate us about your country ". On this note, I am heading forward to educate you about my country, Ghana.
Ghana is one of the African countries. You may have heard of Ghana without knowing which continent it can be located. Today, I am enlightening you that Ghana is found on the continent of Africa.
Every country has its unique flag. Below is the national flag of Ghana.

The flag is the symbol which a non- citizen of our country could use to identify who we are. All the colours have its meaning, which is not strongly needed in educating someone about my country.
I will now take you through the sub-divisions of my country.
Ghana is divided into 16 sub-divisions, which we refer to in our country as regions.
Below are the regions in Ghana with their capital towns.

Dr Kwame Nkrumah was the first president of Ghana, which is one of the ways of introducing the country to someone.

But one most important thing a person might want to know is the president of the country. The current president of Ghana is His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo.

Elections take place every four years in the country. After a president wins an election, he has to swear on a sword promising to be faithful to our homeland Ghana.

I don't need to talk about the role of the president, as everyone knows the role of a president in a country.
Let me now take you to the education sector, as education brought about the modern world we are in today.
We have different institutions which equip students with great knowledge of aspects such as health, agriculture, veterinary, education, and technology, just to mention a few. Here is a list of a few universities and their websites.

Since health is the best thing required by every individual in the world, the government of Ghana emphasizes great attention to the health sector. There are many hospitals across all the regions, but I will share with you the national head hospital in Ghana, Korle Bu teaching hospital.

Involve in Agriculture
I will also let you know that Ghana has greatly improved in agriculture due to the good land tenure system. We are able to export most of the crops cultivated in Ghana, such as yam, cassava, and many more.

The other thing I can not forget to let you know is the national language spoken by Ghanains. Though there are numerous languages in Ghana, English is agreed as the standard language in Ghana.
Democratic
Ghana is a democratic country, hence there is peace in the country. For instance, there is freedom to do all legal acts, the right to choose your religion, the right to sue and be sued, etc. For that reason, Ghana has strong security personnel with the purpose of prevailing peace in our homeland Ghana.
Currency
Before I conclude,I will finally share with you the currency we are using. Cedis and pesewas are the currencies which is generally accepted as a medium of exchange in Ghana.

Conclusion
Ghana, my motherland, is a conducive place to be. In the above description of Ghana, I hope you are enlightened about my country, though there are more to be added, such as airports, mining sectors, oil refinery, sports etc. But on this content, I can't share all about my country since there may be others which are not known to me.
