When I turned 37 my family told me that I could no longer play roulette as my number is no longer on the table. It was then that I realized that I am an adult and should start acting like one. I was disappointed but somehow also excited.

Now, I am not a gambler but if we are at a resort with a gambling area, a casino, and there is a roulette table I will always flip a coin. I said… a coin.

I got so excited when I saw this engagement challenge. This is it! I can build my own roulette table and play my own casino game with my Steemit family.

In short, roulette is a casino game that is played on a roulette table. The table is marked with 37 squares and in each square is a number (0-36). The squares are marked with the color red or black except for the number 0 which is marked in green. Players place their bets on the number or numbers they want to play.

At the top of the table is the roulette wheel with the 37 numbers. The numbers are colored exactly the same as the numbers on the table. The head of the table known as the “croupier” will spin the wheel in one direction and a ball in the opposite direction. The ball will spin on the edge of the wheel and as the wheel slows down the ball loses momentum and lands on a single number which will then also be the winning number.

If you have placed your bet on that number you are a winner!

Let’s play roulette!

To be able to play roulette you need chips. They are the most important factor in any roulette game.

Normally the value of a chip will be equal to 1 USD.

The chips today are you my fellow Steemians family and your value is far more than 1 USD to me.

• Without you, there will be no Steemit
• Without you, there will be no purpose for me to play
• Without you, there will be no winnings

The chips at a roulette table will be of certain colors. This is so that the croupier can know to which player the chips belong. These colors represent the various communities. Thanks to you I am playing with multiple colors!

I have my chips, next I need to play them and to do this I need numbers.

Over the last few months, I’ve got to know so many people. In fact, I don’t think there is one day without me meeting someone new. Each person I meet on Steemit plays an important role in my life.

Some make me laugh. With some, I can cry. There are those that I feel sorry for and those I want to help with all my might. There are even those that I can get very cross with and those I just want to hug.

37 Numbers! That is all that I can choose. Not an easy task when you have a BIG family.

It took me some time but I did it. I looked back at my journey over the last few months and at what was important to me. What made me the Steemian I am today?

• My return to Steemit
• The first group of women I joined
• The first community I got involved in
• My duty as curator, moderator and CR
• My work as a mentor and supporter
• Me the author or blogger

In the end, I decided on names who might not even be some of the high flyers on Steemit and not known to many of you but who are Steemians that played and who are still playing an important role in my life and also the lives of many other Steemians.

Steemians who I feel need my mentioning. Some of them are Steemians I only met recently but who need just that little bit of encouragement to become the greatest. There are also those who I hope will realize that they are true winners and those who need to know that what they are doing does get noticed. All of them are from my Steemit family.

Of importance is that when you play roulette there is not one number that is more important than the other. You have exactly a 1 out of 37 chance to land on a number.

What makes roulette also interesting is that you have 50/50 chances.

You can place your bet on odd or even numbers or you can place them on black or red.

I would not be able to complete my roulette table without them.

There is none better than SC01 and SC02 for red and black. Two who are for sure family members to all of us.

Umh… I have to complete my table but I just don’t know who of my Steemit family will be able to measure up against each other.

I got it! Let the giants fight this one!

With my roulette table completed all that is left is to roll the dice!

It doesn’t matter about the chip, color, number, or 50/50 odds I am already winning. Thanks to all of you my Steemit family!
