Esta publicación es un acto de solidaridad y de solicitud de apoyo para con @turituri, una joven usuaria quien nació con una enfermedad ocular denominada "Estrabismo Bilateral", esto ocasiona que los ojos no estén alineados, es decir que apunten en diferentes direcciones.
A los 11 meses de edad recibió su primera operación correctiva, la cual, en el momento le corrigió mucho su defecto visual, posteriormente entre los 5 y los 10 años fue sometida a diversos ejercicios y terapias oculares como el uso de parches lo cual ayudó a que mientras maduraba neurológicamente pudiera estabilizar su visión.
El pasado 02 de marzo, fue nuevamente a consulta con el oftalmólogo, quien determinó que amerita una operación para hacer la corrección definitiva de su estrabismo, sobre todo porque ya cuenta con 18 años y es el momento oportuno de hacerlo, ya que posteriormente, sería muy difícil hacer la corrección.
Según el equipo médico que ofrece la cirugía, le ofrecieron la fecha en mayo de este año y los costos serán los siguientes:
$1.400, es decir, 6.536 Steem
¿Por qué deberías ayudar?
Cada vez que observamos situaciones en las cuales hay alguna persona necesitando ayuda, debemos preguntarnos ¿y si esa persona fuera algún familiar o tal vez fuera yo mismo?
@turituri es una chica joven con un futuro maravilloso por delante, es una entusiasta de la fotografía, del diseño por computadora y tiene muchos sueños que quiere cumplir, por lo que su salud visual es fundamental para poder cumplir todo ello.
Cada uno de nosotros tiene sus propias situaciones familiares, algunos pueden tener los recursos financieros para poder costear sin ningún problema este tipo de situaciones, otros no los tienen en este momento, algunos pueden tener seguro médico, otros no.
