My Favorite Tea Contest- Concurso mi Té preferido #50-50
I don't remember exactly how the tea tasted, but I do remember that everyone in the house praised it very much. Maybe the tea was really good or it was just to increase my enthusiasm. Whatever, I had one thing in my mind from the next day whenever Mummy was in the kitchen, I started staying with her. Mum would often ask me to leave the kitchen by pampering but I would stick there, and keep looking for opportunities to make tea.
After that day it did not happen that I got a chance to make tea every day, but maybe once in a month or two, or when there was no one in the house, I would make tea. I achieved something big with the help of my big sis when I was 17 years old. I made potato curry and parathas, a full meal, and announced it proudly.

However, later when my mother came to know about my passion for tea she often asked me to make tea for everyone.
I like to use herbs like ginger, cardamom, basil, etc. in tea.

Some people grate ginger and add it to the tea but I want a unique flavor in my tea that gives it some new taste. So I use, ginger, crushed cloves, and a pinch of cinnamon, especially during winters.
If you want to do the same, all you have to do is do one thing. These three things have to be crushed together and put in boiling water.
If you do not like basil tea, then use two crushed cloves and a small piece of cinnamon instead.

During summers, I go for lemon with ginger and I often buy my teabags from Amazon for a quick cup of tea.

I have tried tea with cloves, I like its flavor but I have not combined it with ginger, it must be very rich, basil also brings good flavor but I use it in small amounts so as not to overshadow the other flavors in tea.

Estimado amigo @dove11, hacer té es una pasión, y pasa de ser algo sencillo a algo muy elaborado, según vamos armándonos de experiencia.
Seguro de que sus primeras experiencias fueron muy nutritivas, ya que son eso, "nuevas experiencias".
Que bueno es contar con uan hermana que le secunda a uno las pasiones, seguro de que ese curry quedó muy bueno.
En mi expereincia como dirigente scout, debo enseñar a lo sjóvenes a cuidar de sí mismos, y el cocinar sus propios aliemtos es una de esas cosas que deben aprender.
