Insecurity in my country

I am delighted to welcome you all to my blog, I hope everything is fine and healthy. Today I am going to express my thought on this amazing contest which title:insecurity in my country
Insecurity is a global phenomenon where life of every citizens is not safe any longer in their own country. Their wellbeing will be affected during the process they carrying out their illicit act by terrorism, people will find it difficult to perform some certain activities which will in turn reduce our economic development.
Insecurity is a big issue in Nigeria where terrorism, banditry, kidnappers, IPOB and Bokoharam sect put the life of everyone in danger to the extent that property worth billion of naira were destroy and innocent soul were killed during their attack.
Religion clashes and other criminal activities such as arm robbers, pick pocket and raping are very common in Nigeria. For example, banditry kidnapped students and travelers and demand huge amount from the family, if the refuse to pay at exact time they stated they will killed the victim without mercy.
The causes of insecurity are list and discuss below:
• Corruption
• Weak judicial system
• Unemployment rate
• Inequality
- Corruption: corruption is one of the major causes of insecurity in Nigeria, government official cannot be trusted any no longer, money the president awarded for the official to purchase latest weapon were diverted to their own pocket. Nigeria politician are not doing us good at all they are affecting our wellbeing, that's why we are ranked among the highest corrupt countries.
- weak judicial system: Our judicial system is very weak, in facts it favour rich people that commit evil act, once they have money their problem is solve and they will release at the end of the day life of poor masses will be in danger.
- Unemployment: Nigeria have high rate of unemployment, where young graduate find it difficult to secure good job. Unemployment cause insecurity due to unavailability of job opportunity for youths to support themself and their family.
- Inequality: Some part of the country are developed while other are neglected, this people feel like they are been cheated because they have oil in their region. So government abandon their area without any development, this people show their aggressive behaviour by vandalism pipeline.
Escalation of insecurity will continue affect our population in so many ways because the number of population of a country will reduces drastically and people can also afraid to go to farm which will contribute to food shortage.
So many life will be loss which will very difficult for the government to tackle the problem. For instance, religions violence in Northern part of the country is another things entirely where mosques and churches were burnt down when the worshippers were inside.
Insecurity have negative effect to our life because number of workers will reduce in an organisation which later affect our out put production
Adequate measure by the government will helps us to curb with this menace. Some of the security measure include the following.
Government should recruit more security personnel and equip them with weapon in order to eliminate all those criminal activities in our society.
Government should implement effective strategies that will enable them respond to the need of people especially on the issue of inequality. Government should develop every area in the country equally by doing this will allows peace to reign in the country.
Government must work towards creating employment opportunity for youths, creating employment in the country will reduce issue of insecurity.
Lastly, government must find another positive way to fight insecurity and also teach the incoming generation the bad effect that will have on our economic.
Life of every citizens is very important because is the responsibilities of the government to protect life and property of their citizens so as to enable them enjoy good quality of life. I would like to invite @ridwant, @rossnenye, and @radleking to participate.

Yes is everywhere but it varies from country to another, government must put in appropriate measure to curb this evil act in order to live peacefully in our society. #steem-on
Hi @akareen, I am of the opinion that the points you have left in your post, related to the reasons for insecurity, are the ones that prevail around the world.
There should be laws that are enforced and applied in our countries, so that we have a better quality of life with more security.

True talk my dear sister, obey rule and regulation is only things that will helps us live in peace. Law enforcement agency must perform their duties diligently so that citizens can enjoy their life to the fullest.
