Usually my challenging situations at work are all about misunderstanding among me and my client or, and that happens a lot too, the client doesn’t imagine my work correctly.

For example once I’ve been commissioned a drawing and my client thought that he can only give the general idea of what feeling that drawing must awake, and nothing about how it must look like. We had numerous conversations about this and he kept saying that he worked with numerous artists and never told them what exactly they must draw. Well it’s a total nonsense, technical task (CLEAR technical task) is a huge part of success in every job, so in the end we had to cancel everything just because he had no idea how exactly do you work with illustrators.

Another example is when my client don’t know what he wants at all, situation pretty similar to previous one, but less challenging if client is opened for a discussion.

I think the key is to stay calm in every situation, no matter what happens, every single order is not the last one in your life and you want to keep your head clear and happy for the next ones:)
