Hi friends, hope you all are doing much better by the grace of Allah. Alhamdulillah I am also very well. Some of you could not appear with any blog due to physical illness. Before sharing the blog first I would like to thank the steemit garden members who have created such a beautiful platform for us. Today I will share with you a blog about my sweet pumpkin garden. The garden was originally planted by my mother,,, My mother loves to garden sweet pumpkin garden and other vegetables in the backyard. Sweet pumpkin is a vegetable that is rich in vitamins. Everyone in the family loves to eat green sweet pumpkin vegetables. Today I will share with you how to plant sweet pumpkin plants, and how to increase the yield.

Planting and Cultivation Method:
Before cultivating sweet pumpkin, first take fertile soil, then mix dry dung with the soil. After giving water for a few days, the seeds should be made suitable for sowing. In the same way our vegetable garden was created. After watering the dung mixed with the soil for a few days, some pesticides were added to increase the fertility of the soil and then the seeds were sown. Seedlings germinate within 8 to 10 days after sowing. If they are 8 to 10 inches after birth, they should be planted in the field within 16 to 20 days. Cultivation of sweet pumpkin is usually done in two ways: tub or loft. Generally suitable time for sweet pumpkin cultivation is Bengali (Kartik and Agrahayan) and English (October and November) months. Hybrid sweet pumpkin yields more, 16 to 20 tons per acre. After planting the seedlings, the plants grow within one to one and a half months. Village houses are made of matcha or kher spread on the ground. Our sweet pumpkin garden was usually on the loft. There is a pond in the village house and my mother planted the seedlings on the bank of that pond. Then gradually began to care, through the application of various pesticides and fertilizers. Within two to two-and-a-half months, it is very productive. Everyone in our family loves to eat sweet pumpkin. Basically raw sweet pumpkin vegetables are very good. At home, sweet pumpkin is sometimes cooked with dried fruit. It is very good to eat. Sometimes sweet pumpkin flower bouquet is made, it is very good to eat. Purple is special with sweet pumpkin and gram flour. Many times sweet pumpkin is cooked, ripe sweet pumpkin is cooked with roe fish head. Our sweet pumpkins have grown quite well in the garden loft. We used to use some pesticides to grow crops. For example, I used urea fertilizer, DA P, Lalsar, Khail. By using them, the yield of trees increases. If you use Khail, the yield is higher and the sweet pumpkin is much sweeter. Let's see what are the benefits of sweet pumpkin.

Benefits:
Sweet pumpkin is usually high in vitamin C and vitamin E. Which is very beneficial for the body. Vitamin C increases the body's immune system. Helps prevent diseases like cold, cough etc. Moreover, sweet pumpkin contains antioxidants. Antioxidants and vitamin E contained in sweet pumpkin reduce the risk of cancer in the body. In general, there are few vegetables as tasty as sweet pumpkin. Although cultivated in November, this pumpkin is mildly sweet
Available throughout the year. Regular sweet pumpkin in the diet can keep you away from diseases. Sweet pumpkin is a vegetable that is rich in nutrients. Not as a curry, it can also be used in salads and soups.

Today I will share about the seven qualities of sweet pumpkin:

1|Sweet pumpkin contains vitamin A, which is very beneficial for the eyes. Sweet pumpkin is very beneficial for other diseases caused by vitamin A deficiency.
2|Sweet pumpkin is generally higher in beta-carotene than carrots, with about 20 mg more in sweet pumpkin than in carrots. So it helps prevent free radical damage to the body.
3|Sweet pumpkin contains antioxidants and vitamin A which actually reduce the risk of cancer. In addition, antioxidants reduce cholesterol in the body. As a result, regular consumption of sweet pumpkin reduces the risk of heart disease.
4|Sweet pumpkin contains vitamin C, which keeps colds and coughs at bay. Besides, having sweet pumpkin, vitamin C and vitamin A keeps hair and skin healthy.
5|Sweet pumpkin is very low in calories due to which it is rich in magnesium and potassium which keeps hypertension and heart disease at bay. Apart from this, various components of sweet pumpkin prevent the formation of kidney stones.
6|Sweet pumpkin helps to improve digestion and relieve constipation.
7|Sweet pumpkin contains zinc and alpha hydroxide, which helps to prevent the signs of aging.
