Sad to hear about the spinach, it goes GREAT with eggs.
As for tomatoes (small ones), I once planted in a big pot (from the seeds of a tomato I ate), and when they grew up they had many small flowers that made up such a mess (falling of leaves, or however it is called), and they were not so tasty.
Tomatoes in a pot have little room for roots. It is necessary to plant special varieties for growing in a pot.

I knew a guy who lived in New Jersey. He planted 2 potatoes in pots and put them in front of the house at the entrance. He took care of them. The neighbors asked him - what kind of plants are these? He replied - marijuana. After a while, the police came. He replied that it was very funny.
It was about the fact that in the Russian Federation absolutely do not care about the plants in front of the house and no one would have called the police. But that was about 5 years ago. Now the situation is completely different. Now, for a careless word, vigilant citizens can report to the police and a person can be taken to the police station and declared an enemy of the nation.
OMG, that sounds horrible.
In Israel there are demonstrations every week for a long time now, just to make sure that the crazy government will not change things.
The prime minister wants to weaken the justice system, and the media, and so no.

In Russia, the retirement age has been raised by 5 years, people have not even said a single word against it. In Russia, people are used to being slaves and not protesting against the Authorities
