Hello dear friends of Steemit and Steemit-Garden, almost a year ago I planted some pieces of Chinese Ocumo, taro (colocasia esculenta) in the garden of my apartment, it has been filled with children and I am already re-sowing them.
The quarantine has made us invent and find what to do to kill boredom, thank God what in my case has been for useful and beneficial things, how is agriculture and gardening.
The Colocasia Esculenta commonly called "Taro" (Chinese Ocumo in Venezuela) is a genus of more than 25 species of angiosperms of the Araceae family, it is native to the tropical and subtropical regions of Asia.

Es muy fácil de sembrar, está grandota la planté hace 1 año, cuando corté un Ocumo para una sopa y ya estaba naciendo la planta en la parte de arriba, solo salí al jardín y la sembré, observen como crece hermosa la mata:

@edmundocentenor, You are right, the pandemic has put many people out of work and we amateur gardeners are lucky. We gardened, grew vegetables and made many useful things for our family.
