Mid July Garden update

Hello, steemians and gardeners!

It's been a while since I've written about my garden so I decided to write a post to show you what my garden looks like right now.

First, the tomato plant garden. I also have some yellow summer squash planted in this garden bed.

A lot of these tomato plants have small tomatoes on them now, like this plant.

The big garden plot is mostly planted with flour corn.

In my tall raised bed, I planted carrots. They're growing well but need to be thinned out now.

In the second raised bed, I planted some green beans. They didn't all come up, but most of them did. I really need to get the weeds pulled out of this bed. There's also several strawberry plants in the little bed next to the beans.

I planted some pole beans on the edge of the big garden, next to the corn. They're starting to climb the trellis now.

These squash plants have overgrown my compost pile. They grew from seeds that were thrown in the compost last year. There's also a couple of sunflower plants growing in with the squash.

These squash plants got a very late start so they're still pretty small.

I planted green beans in these big pots. They're easier to take care of and easier to pick when they're grown in big containers like this, you don't have to bend over so far to work on them.

For my last picture, 2 tomato plants that I put into big pots by the bean plant pots. One tomato plant is a cherry tomato, the other is an extra paste tomato plant that I didn't have space for in the big tomato plant garden.
