Hello Hello Foodies of Steemit!!!

The wait is finally over and after one week of break...here I am today announcing the kick off of the 2nd Act of Steemit Iron Chef 2021!

Exceptionally this year we will only have 2 acts whereas as from 2022, each year we will have 3 different acts of 15 rounds each!

We successfully completed act 1 where our Iron Chef Champion @crisvera did amazingly well during all the 15 rounds and very much deserved this title! Congrats again my friend!

Now Act 2 - Different from Act 1!!!

In act 1, each week I was announcing a vegetable/fruit for the contestants to work on...but in act 2 things will be different...

There will be 15 different themes for act 2!!!

Each round I will come up with a creative theme for our contestants to have fun and make their entry...Read below to know the theme of this first round!

Brief Description of SIC 2021 Act 2

Each Friday I will announce a theme and all our contestants will have until the coming Friday to submit their entry based on that theme...

The 2nd act will have 15 rounds in total and each round the top 7 entries will share a reward of 40 STEEM.

Finishing in the top 7 also gives you bonus points which will be calculated each round to form the SIC 2021 Act 2 League!!! Please note that in act 2, only the top 7 will get points for the league...

STEEMIT IRON CHEF 2021 ACT 2 ROUND 01

The first theme that I am putting forward for this first round is.....TAAAADAAAAAAHHHH!!!

Create Monochrome dish!!!

This gonna be super exciting! What I am expecting from this first round is that the contestants come up with a plate/dish made of ingredients having the same color...it can be of different tone but same color!

Let me share some plates I made for you to have an idea! Hope these will help!

ORANGE MONOCHROME

50 Shades of Orange!

RED MONOCHROME

Babonne fish cooked in beet and red wine , beet variations!

GREEN MONOCHROME

Fish monochrome, brocoli, zuchinni, gombos, bok choy and green peas!

You guessed it right...you can use any ingredients you wish to make your entry for this 1st round of act 2!!! Have fun and come up with a monochromatic dish...

You can do any monochrome color...just be super creative!!!

As mentioned many times now, for the 2nd act, our main goal will be to grow the SP of SIC so that in the future we can sustain ourselves and not wait for support from curators - This will take time but we need to start somewhere!

Check out the rules of our contest and please do respect them for you to be eligible for the different rewards...

You will have to create a post and title your entry 'Steemit Iron Chef 2021 Act 2 Round 01 : Name of your dish' and post in the SIC community only!
Make either a starter or main course or dessert based on the theme of the week!
Put @steemit-ironchef as your post payout beneficiary is mandatory now and gives you a big chance to be selected for support from @booming account!
Only one entry per person is allowed.
Make sure to use #steemit-ironchef as your first tag, so that I don't miss your entry!
Only new recipes will be accepted, so I will need minimum one photo with your name and date on it.
I don't need to see your step by step preparations/recipes or pictures of you... just make the list of the products used, describe your dish and add some photos to get my attention!
Make it sweet and simple!!!
Post a link of your entry on the announcement post and also share your entry on our discord channel - Steemit Iron Chef Discord Channel!

How entries are marked???

For you guys to get an idea of how I judge the entries, below is the evaluation sheet that I will use for each and every participant/entries of Steemit Iron Chef.

Please note that I will be the only one judging all the entries based on my 20 years career/experience as a professional Chef.

yes my friends, for the 2nd act...instead of 25 Steem, I will be giving away 40 STEEM to the top 7!!!

Below are the prizes which are distributed to the top 7 each week!

Communities support

For the next 4 weeks, we are going to get the support of booming accounts and we will apply again for October...we just hope to get to that big support soon!

Everyday, I nominate 4 participants posts for votes...if you want to be in that 4, all you need is to respect our rules and guidelines and most important put @steemit-ironchef as post beneficiary!!!

STEEMIT IRON CHEF 2021 ACT 2 LEAGUE

The total points earned each week by the top 7 contestants (see table above) will be sent on the below table to make the rankings of the Steemit Iron Chef 2021 ACT 2 League!

The one getting the most of points will top the league at the end of the Second Act which comprises of 15 weeks/rounds!

The more consistent someone is in participating, the better chance to top the league!

There will be rewards for the ones finishing in the top 25 this time...to be disclosed later!!!

I wanted to organize the grand reward pool like act 1...but I won't do it this time as it was really hard to convince people to contribute...I contributed nearly 85% to make the grand reward pool of act 1!!!

And like I said above...our main goal is to grow our community SP...so most of our earnings will be powered up the next 15 weeks...
