My Best soup Recipe ( Afang Soup)

Good evening Steemians, good evening steemist, good evening my good and extraordinary Iron chefs. I've been away for a while now, not been active due to my work schedule this time. So today I'm off from work so I decided to make my best soup (Afang Soup), it's an Akwaibom soup but I so much love it even though I'm from Imo State and it happen to be my best soup.

So I decided to make a small portion of this Afang soup because making a normal Afang soup will cost me so much in this current economy, and also considering my location. Owerri is a bit expensive, so I had to cut my clothes according to my material..

So these are the things I got from the market to make this delicious soup.

1: water leaf
2: Afang ( ukazi in Igbo language)
3: palm oil
4: periwinkle (isem in Igbo)
5: meat
6: smoked kpanla fish
7: crayfish
9: bonga fish
10: salt
11: knor maggi
12: fresh pepper

PROCEDURE 

Washed and steamed the meat, fish and periwinkle with seasoning. (Maggi , pepper and salt and onion of necessary)
Slice and Washed the water leaf with clean water and salt.
Cook the water leaf to make sure that the water dried up.
Add the steamed meat and fish stork to the cooked water leaf and add a cube of Maggie if necessary, add crayfish, pepper and and a little salt if need be.
Be careful to note the quantity of salt added.
Stir, cover and allow it to boil so that the seasoning will saturate, for about 10munites.

Make sure to check and double check what you are cooking and make sure to taste it to know if everything is at its best.
Then add the grinded or pounded Afang/Ukazi leaf to it, at this point the afang/Ukazi will help to thicken the soup.
Now pour enough quantity of palm oil because afang soup needs a lot of oil in it. And make sure that your oil is very good and taste well to avoid spoiling the Tates of your soup.

Allow it to boil for 3-5 munites and your afang soup is ready to go with fufu or semo or garri as the case may be.
Like I said before, this soup is my best soup, and I try so much to make it exactly but as you know it's not my traditional soup and I've not stayed with any Akwaibomite.
So please I will be needing correction on how to make this soup best. Remember to vote if you think I tried.
