Traditional Nanya Pitha recipe
Name of Item : Nanya Pitha
Today I will be sharing one recipe which I have tried for the first time. It is one of the famous food of my current living town. This pitha is as beautiful to look at as it is delicious to eat. Locally, this pitha is called "Nanya Pitha". Let's start the recipe

Making Process
Step- I
First I gathered all the ingredients to prepare this pitha. I took all the ingredients in a plate in the right quantity. Having the ingredients we need organized and close at hand while cooking saves a lot of time. All of you who cook regularly will agree with me.
Step-II
Then I boiled all the ingredients in water well. After all the ingredients were boiled well, I added the black cumin seeds. The reason for adding the black cumin seeds late is so that its color and quality will be more effective. As you can see from the pictures, this is a lot of work.
Step-III
At this step, I turned off the heat of the stove. Then I sieved the rice flour well with the help of a sieve. This is a very important step because if the rice flour is not sieved well, there will be lumps there, which will result in the dough not being smooth. Then, little by little, the water mixed with the rice flour ingredient should be mixed well.
Step- IV
Then I knead the dough of hot mixture by hand. This is the most difficult step of this pitha because in this step, I have to endure the heat and press the dough well with my hands.
Step-V
Then I made small loaves of the dough. I used a special shape cutter to shape them into balls. With the help of this round shape cutter, all my loaves were the same size and looked very nice.
Step- VI
Then I heated one and a half cups of oil in a pan. If you want to successfully try this recipe at home, you must heat the oil well in this step. After the oil is hot, leave a loaves in it and fry it well for 2 minutes. This is how I finished making my Nanya Pitha.
Step- VII
I made 2 sizes of pitha with the same dough. The one I shared above is round in shape and the one I am sharing is cylindrical in shape. Here I have shaped the dough into a cylindrical shape with my hands. Then I fried it in hot oil for about 5 minutes.
