STEEMIT IRON CHEF ACT 2 ROUND 02 : Childhood Memories and Still - Simply Burger and French Fries!!!

Good day Iron Chef Community!

It is always such a pleasure to post in this amazing foodie community! Though I am quite busy nearly everyday with my work, I always make my best to find the necessary time to participate in the Steemit Iron Chef contest!

I noticed that now we have the foodcolorchallenge also in the community...this one is daily - So I am not so sure to be able to enter often...but will try to enter from time to time!

For the 2nd round of Act 2, the chef asked the contestants to show our childhood food memories...

My entry this time will be a dish loved by nearly everyone and since the day I've eaten it (when I was a kid obviously!!!) I am still such a big fan of it!!!

Simply Burger and French Fries!!!

For once...my entry this time will be something quite easy and not so refined...well we can't really refine a burger too much...it need to be as it supposed to be!!!

Chicken burger with mild spices is my favorite casual food...and we just need couple of ingredients to make a delicious one!!!

I made my own burger patty in which I added some spices...my personal touch!!!

We need the burger bun, some lettuces, cheddar cheese, mayo, ketchup and French Fries!

I won't go too much in details as it is so easy to make it...right!?

After toasting my burger bun, I pan fried the chicken patty until cooked on both sides !

Mount the burger...

No big deal for the plating here...simply apply some mayo and ketchup on the toasted buns then put on some lettuces on the bottom side of the bun and a big slice of cheddar cheese on the top side...

Fry some French Fries in the meantime and place the chicken patty on the lettuce bed!

At the work place, I use a lot of papaya compote and this is what I put on top of my burger instead of onion!

Once ready...we can't wait too much before enjoying it!!!
