  • Beef - 1 kg

  • Ginger paste- 1 tbsp

  • Garlic paste- 1/2 tsp

  • Coriander powder- 1 tsp

  • Cumin powder- 2 tsp

  • Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp

  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp

  • Garam masala powder- 1 tsp

  • Nutmeg-Jayatri powder- 1/4 tsp

  • Barista- 1/2 cup

  • Sour yogurt- 1/4 cup

  • Oil/Ghee- 1/2 cup

  • Whole Garam Masala - 4/5

  • Bay leaves - 2

  • Chilli- 10/12

  • Salt - to taste.

What you will need for rice

  • Rice- 3 cups

  • Milk- 1 cup

  • Water - 5 cups

  • Potatoes- 4/5

  • Cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves - 2 each

  • Green chillies- 10-12

  • Sugar- 1 teaspoon

  • Salt - to taste

How to make

  • Mix the batter and powdered masala with little water and salt. Wash the rice and drain the water. Heat oil in a cooking pot. Then add bay leaves and whole garam masala to boil. Now it should be grated with mixed masala. When the masala is ground, grind it well with the meat. Cover and cook for half an hour. No need to add separate water. Keep the stove low. Cover occasionally by lifting the lid and shaking. When the meat is cooked, cover it with beresta and kacha pepper for ten minutes. Take it down now.
  • Peel the potatoes and fry until golden. Then put the rice in the cooking pot with bay leaf and whole garam masala. After frying for a while add salt, potatoes, milk and water. Now increase the heat of the stove. When the water boils, cook until the water and rice become equal. Cover with a lid when the water reduces. Lower the heat on the stove. Cook like this for fifteen minutes. Then take half the Polao and spread the cooked meat and fried potatoes evenly on it and spread it with the remaining Polao. Top with little sugar, lemon juice, food color and onion and cook for another 15-20 minutes. Then take down and serve the beef biryani hot.
