Winter Hand Kanta Semai Pitha Recipe.
Device : Redmi 10 prime.


  • Today I am going to show you the steps to make thorn semai by hand. I have shared with you in the previous post that I came to visit Pabna. Bhabhi made winter pies for me when I came to brother's house. Bhabhi made kanta semai by hand and I took pictures of the steps. I will discuss and show you the steps of making the recipe in detail.

Necessary materials


  • Atap rice powder-750 grams
  • Milk-1.5 kg
  • Sugar-250 grams
  • Cure fruit amount like
  • Oil amount like
  • Hot water like amount

  • Steep:01

I took atap rice powder in a bowl. I took the necessary materials in separate containers.

Take a pot of water and put it on the stove and heat it. Atap rice powder should be mixed with hot water to make dough.

Rolls should be made with flour.
Cut the rolls into small pieces and make thorn semai by hand.

Place the pan in the oven. Heat the pan slowly and add enough milk to the pan. Leave some cardamom in the milk. Increase the heat of the stove and wait until the milk boils.

When the milk starts to boil, the heat of the stove should be reduced a little, otherwise the milk will boil. Reduce the heat and leave the seeds in the milk.

The heat of the oven should be increased after adding the whole hand-picked semai in the milk. Increase the heat of the stove and keep stirring with a spoon, then the semai will be cooked well. After 5 minutes, remove from the stove.

  • Final Steep:

After cooking, keep the chopped semai in separate bowls. Or put it in a separate container. If it is a little cold, it is more fun to eat.
