I am filled with gratitude to be part of this union, in such an amazing platform called the Steemit platform where people from different parts of the world and kindred come together to be users of the platform as we engage and know each other more in the the platform. Thanks to the Steemit platform for the initiative of the engagement challenge and I am glad to show my participation this morning, specifically on the topic; "Mother's delicacy".
Tell us about your relationship with this mother, and why did you select her?
This is my lovely mother, she is an emblem of beauty and beauty from the depth of her heart. She is my Biological mother, I never regret for once coming to this world through her because she did almost all every mother should do to her female child.
I would say I am closer to her than the way I should be to my father because she has been my teacher from the root of my life till this stage. I select her because she has been my tutor, especially in the kitchen. She stated teaching me how to cook when I was 7 years old and nurtured me into the woman I am today.
I select her because she made me who I am today, especially in the aspect of cooking delicacies fortunate enough, she is a chef by profession and she has always been calling my attention to watch her while she bakes snacks and cooks.
What is her specialty in the kitchen, if you have photographic captures can you share them or sample images with source and copyright free?
Oh God! She is very good at cooking local and continental dishes, I have mentioned earlier that, she is a chef by profession so, she can cook and bake almost all, she doesn't cook anyhow, she cooks with the knowledge that more than two classes of food should be in that food to make it a balanced meal.

Share some tips, and cooking advice from that mother that will help us all.
Every good mother would always have cooking advice that would help the child pick faster in learning which would always be a reminder to her everywhere she goes. I have this advice my mother always gives to me while in the kitchen with her and some of the pieces of advice are as follows.
Cover your head while cooking
Always sweep your kitchen before any move of cooking
Do not leave the kitchen while you cook I.e give attention to the food.
Don't leave your rice in the water to get too soaked.
Use salt while washing vegetables.
Always use a hand towel while cooking to prevent accidents and also your apron.
Tell us about that food that your mother used to prepare for you when you were a child, and you still remember whether you liked it or not.
Yeah! yeah! My mummy told me that, when I was a kid she cooks noodles more for me and I asked why she said because that is the food I eat more among with all the food she cooks, and for that reason, she buys noodles in cartoons to keep at home, she also said I wake up in the night to cry and that night she was always cooking noodles and once I eat, I sleep back😯 which I know she was not finding it easy but It's now a story.
What is that mother's favorite meal, be it breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, drink, or candy.? Share with us if she prepares it, or who prepares it or buys it.
I have always known this local dish to be my mother's favorite, I tried learning to eat it but I can't, it is called Ombgu in my language, it is a traditional food made with corn and beans, it tastes sweet to her but to me, it tastes so bad, she taught me how to cook it and whenever she is tired, I prepare it exactly for her.

Ofcourse friend, fathers seems to be too serious that we hardly have his attention but I am happy my mother is always there for me especially in the kitchen.
