I'm participating in this contest, bringing to you a Nigerian delicacy. Catfish Pepper Soup

Catfish is a fish eaten by Nigerians, mostly those in the riverine areas. It is not a common food to all. Those who live in the riverine areas enjoy it most and also the rich people who are not living in the riverine areas.

Catfish can be used to cook different meals but for this contest, I present to you cat fish pepper soup.

Ingredients

• Catfish

• Fresh Pepper

• Crayfish

• Vegetable (Scent leaf)

• Onion

• Seasoning cubes

• Salt to taste

Method of preparation

• Wash the catfish with salt and water to remove the slime

• Wash the vegetable and slice to desired size

• Pound the fresh pepper and crayfish together and set aside

• Put washed catfish into the cooking pot and put salt, sliced onion, grounded crayfish and pepper, seasoning cubes

• Pour water into the pot and put on fire

• Allow to cook for 20 minutes. This is to ensure the fish is properly cooked

• Once the fish is properly cooked, add washed sliced vegetable

• Your catfish pepper soup is ready
