Recipe of the Day, Week No: 51: "Fresh clam noodle recipe"

If you are a seafood lover, then mussels are something that is familiar to the tongue. This animal with two shells and soft flesh has a very delicious and special taste. The savory taste of mussel meat is difficult to get from other types of seafood.
Actually, there are many types of mussels that we can consume and make into cooking recipes. For this opportunity, I will use freshwater mussels which have harder shells compared to mussel shells in general.
The difference is that these freshwater mussels have shells that are difficult to clean. While sea mussels are easier to clean because their shells have a smoother texture and are sparkling clean.
✅ Ingredients that I use to make one serving of mussel noodles:

- 300 grams of mussels, clean by brushing.
- 150 grams of yellow noodles.
- 1 tablespoon of curry seasoning or you can use chili sauce.
- 20 grams of bean sprouts.
- 2 sheets of mustard greens.
- 1 stalk of celery.
- 1 stalk of spring onion.
- ¼ tomato.
- Sufficient salt, flavoring, sweet soy sauce and tomato sauce.
- 1 liter of water.
✅ Equipment and how to make:
Prepare a frying pan, then pour 1 liter of water to boil the clams.
Boil the clams for about 15 minutes, and the water will reduce some. then add the curry spices.

Add salt and flavoring.
Add bean sprouts,
- Add chopped mustard greens, celery, spring onions and tomatoes.
- Add yellow noodles.
Pour in soy sauce and tomato sauce.
Stir briefly, and turn off the stove.

💰 Cost:
To prepare this recipe I spent around IDR 25,000 or 8.5 Steem. I bought these clams at the market for around Rp. 15,000 or 5 steems, the rest is the cost of spices, vegetables and sauce..
✅Tips:
Clean the clams properly, use a brush to clean the remaining mud on the shells. Usually freshwater clams tend to be dirtier than sea clams.
Cook the clams for no less than 15 minutes. Clams with harder shells usually take longer to cook when boiled.
Consume clams while they are warm, usually when they are cold they will smell fishy.
