Recipe of the Day, Week No. 52: (Purée Accompanied with Bread)
Steem greetings to all the amazing chefs on the platform. It is another day to share my recipe for the day. For today's recipe, I will share a simple purée which can be prepared and eaten as lunch with bread. It is highly nutritive and friendly to the stomach. It can be consumed as breakfast and as well as lunch but I will not advise you to consume it as dinner because it will be too heavy to digest before bedtime.

Ingredients Used to Prepare the Purée |

- Avocado
- Mayonnaise
- Fresh tomatoes
- Vinegar
- Onions
- Boil egg (Optional)
Steps to Prepare the Purée |

The steps are very simple and easy to follow. Take your tomatoes and onions, wash them well with clean water and also add a bit of vinegar to wash them out well.

After washing the tomatoes and onions, I chopped them into smaller slices. As for the onions, my kids do not like them to be visible and I had to chop them in a way that will not be visible.
Then I took the avocado, washed it as well and cut it into halves. Removed the seed and peeled off the avocado before cutting into smaller slices.

Take a bowl and mix all the sliced ingredients in it. You might as well add your sliced boiled eggs. I do not like adding the boiled egg because I’m using mayonnaise. Then I take the mayonnaise, mix it with a bit of vinegar and mixed with the sliced ingredients and your purée is ready to be served.

For the bread, you might want to bake your fresh bread to be eaten with the purée. As for me, I could not bake because there was a bakery around my house. I bought freshly baked bread from the bakery and enjoyed the purée.

You might want to serve it by cutting the bread into slices and putting the puree in between. For me, I put it separately bite the bread and take a spoon of the puree and chew together.

It is easy and less time-consuming to prepare, unlike other salads in Cameroon cuisine. I will invite @paholags, @pelon53 and @suboohi to share their recipes for the day.
