Today I am writing about an interesting and knowledgeable contest which is launched by @nancy0 all time my favourite topic "The recipe of the day #47" So, in this post I am going to share my point of view about this topic

Nowadays it is winter season and in this season green peas are easily available wherever you look in the market. Nowadays it is the season of green peas and its taste is also very sweet, so in winter season we often make Tehari by adding green peas.

Which is also prepared quickly and is also tasty to eat. We like to eat Tehari with pickle, papad, salad, sour chutney of coriander and tomato juice. Eating Tehari with all these enhances the taste of Tehari. The ingredients we need to make Tehari are easily available in our home.

We do not need any special preparation for this. We should choose rice for making Tehari in such a way that it becomes fluffy. And its taste is also good. Because it is said that if a person's mind is happy then everything is happy, because we first eat it with our eyes.

When something is kept in front of us and looks very beautiful, then the desire to eat it automatically arises.

The ingredients required to make Tehari are as follows


Rice
Green peas
Potatoes


Spices


Oil
Salt
Ground red chilli
Ground turmeric
Water
Cumin
Asafoetida


Method of making Tehari


First of all, we peel the peas and take out its grains, and then wash it with clean water. Cut the potatoes into small square pieces and wash the rice. Now put some oil in a cooker and when the oil is hot, add cumin and asafoetida to it. As soon as the cumin starts crackling, we add chopped potatoes to it.

Then add turmeric, chilli and salt to it and stir, then we add peas to it and after that we add rice to it and then stir all these ingredients well. After that we add a glass of water to it and close the cooker and let it whistle three times.

Our Tehari is ready, we can serve it with chutney, pickle, papad and eating it hot has its own pleasure. It is also prepared very quickly and the whole family can sit together and eat together.
