Recipe of the Day, Week No. 48: Traditional Pakistani Linseed Ladu for Winter

I hope everyone is well and enjoying their lives. Since the winter season is going on in Pakistan, we have to enjoy different things in the winter season. The things that are best for our winter are the famous gifts in Pakistan which we call lazy cheeses. They are usually made in Pakistan in the winter because they are warm and their effect is warm.

Today I have brought you the recipe for how to make this. It is a very easy method. We can easily make it at home. So, first of all, let's look at some of the ingredients that we are going to use in it.

Process:

Step 01

The first thing we need to do is clean the linseed. After cleaning it, we need to roast it lightly over low heat for a long time until its color changes slightly. By doing it this way, we cook it because we don't have to heat or cook it anywhere later, so we fry it beforehand so that we can grind it later.

Step 02

Our second task is to fry the flour we have prepared on low heat. At first, the flour is white, and later, after frying it, it will turn slightly yellow. When it turns yellow, we will remove it from the stove.

Step 03

After heating these two things, we have to remove them. Now we have to grind the linseed with the help of a grinder. Now we do not grind it too finely because it will not taste good to eat. Only when it is slightly thick will we be able to eat it properly. For this, first of all, we will take a grinder machine, put a little bit of it in it, and grind the linseed.

Step 04

Our next step will be to heat the mustard oil that we have taken. We have to heat it to such an extent that its bitterness disappears. We have to make it like any other oil because at first, it is bitter. When we heat it enough, then its bitterness will disappear. Furthermore, to collect the bitterness from it, we will make a small wheat bread and put it in it. As long as this oil continues to heat, all that bitterness will be absorbed into this bread and then we will remove it separately.

Step 05

When our mustard oil is heated properly and we are sure that its bitterness has gone, we will remove it from the stove. Now our next task is to use jaggery in the desert, so we have to grind this jaggery into small pieces add a little water put it on the stove, and make its sauce. Our linseed paste depends on the amount of molasses water. The more we heat the sauce, the harder our material will become. So we will set it according to your needs.

Step 06

Our next step is that we have to mix all the ingredients, which will include our wheat flour, our linseed, and the dried fruits that we have to use in it. You can use any fruit that you like, so first of all we have to put all these ingredients in a large bowl and mix them.

Step 07

In the meantime, the water in which we had added jaggery will also get hot, so it has become a sauce of it. Now we have to mix the oil and the water. We have to add the jaggery water to the water we have heated, and we have to add the mustard oil that we have heated separately, and we have to combine the two.

Step 08

When we have to put them together, we have to put the mixture that we have prepared in which we have added all the things. It is very hot, so be careful when we add our mixture to it. It will take some out, so be prepared that you will get burned. We will add our mixture to it.

Step 09

Now we have to mix it well so that the oil and water that we have mixed separately are absorbed well into the entire material, so we have to mix it well for a long time.

Step 10

When it is mixed well, then we have to give it the shape of a round lado while it is still hot so that you can keep it in any shape as you see fit. You can use it as is, but for beauty, we will give it a round shape like a lado.

Finally

In this way, our final linseed lado will be ready, which we can eat one by one daily and have our one-time breakfast or lunch. It is quite heavy and after eating it, we do not feel hungry for a long time. Eating this one Lado means that you have eaten two pieces of bread, it has so much strength.

Let me start with greetings bro you have made linseed laddoos so delicious my mouth watered I could hardly control myself.You are right in saying that we make various things in winter like carrot halwa, I have heard about linseed laddoos for the first time now inshallah I will try it too after reading what you have described so well I will make linseed laddoos.We have also made this winter wheat flour chori it also has many benefits and keeps the body warm etc. It uses desi ghee jaggery and dry fruits etc.It uses coconut which has many benefits and is an excellent remedy for joint pain.Our grandmother tells us that we used it in our time for backachees pain.Now people use medicines etc. which show their effect for some time but later they don't show their effect.Here in winter wheat flour chori is eaten very fondly.If you had used small green cardamom in it, it would have tasted very delicious and it would have smelled very well. You said that we can use this breakfast and suppress hunger etc.He does not feel hungry for four to five hours after eating it. By making its ladoos we can take it with us office etc. My mom gives this to my brothers as a school lunch and they eat it very happily.Whenever the children are stubborn, we give it to them to eat and they become very happy and eat it happily.
