Contest: My Favourite Book Review: "Treasure island"

When I think about favourite book I think about the time when I had more time for reading and of course, it is childhood. I remember in summer we had long holidays about 6 weeks and often there was not much to do so I grabbed one of the books on shelf of my grandfather’s book cupboard and explored.
I remember that my grandfather advised the book that was called “Treasure Island” by R. L. Stevenson. He never told what is it about but said that I would enjoy it.
There are few reason why I loved the book:
Jim Hawkins, the young boy is the main character and the whole story written from his point of view. When I read the book I had a feeling that it is me who is there and e ery description of surroundings that was done by Author was so clearly written that anyone with good imagination could feel and surf into this wonderful world of adventure
The other reason why I loved the book was the conflict of character, when Jim met an old pirate who pretended to be his friend. While reading I was not completely sure if that old pirate was a good person or not, as he became very good friend of Jim and as every child he was so naive and trusted to that adult. This is first time I confronted cheating and using people in their own benefits. It was like starting to learn human nature and character
Throughout the book, we learn that nobody can survive alone and we all need friends, loyal people and supportive people around who will be there with their advise and just for us. It could be some strangers who later will become our friends or it could be our family members
The book was my favourite and I read it again and again, it has been my friend until now.
