Home is for many of us secure, safe place where we longing to return to have our peace, to enjoy the time with our family and relatives. Majority of us have happy families but there is a small amount of people who suffer from domestic violence and keep silence.
When we think about these two words "domestic violence" what does it mean? It means that our home turns in hell. There are some people who do not like to go home, especially it is noticeable on children who are happy in school, talking, playing and communicative. At the time when they have to go home, they try to find any reason not to do it. Sometime they find a task to finish or go to their friends home with potential staying over night there.
There are few types of violence:
verbal: when a person will be scolded verbally, humiliate the person to destroy his confidence and self esteem. Often it is when parents do with their children, they make them feel so unimportant, that after many years may completely destroy their personality and not many can find their place in modern society and create their own family. The reason is, they are scared to be like their parents.*
physical: when the person will be physically abused for anything or even without any reason. Often when the person allows that once then it will be repeatedly happening and that is also something that will leave enormous emotional impact on the personality
sexual violence: often the victims keep quiet because they are ashamed to tell it to anyone and prefer to suffer alone. Often many years later they will share it with someone, sometime they may still overcome with a lot of time that is spend with psychologist.
The whole tragedy is that the people who exercise violence could be the parents against their children, siblings or even children against their parents.
There are two reason why we should raise awareness about domestic violence:
first: because we need to help a person who is trapped in such situation and show that this is not their fault and there is a help available. Hopefully with that people can find their way back into healthy society
the second reason because any kind of violence is criminal therefore, the person who exercises violence should know that there is a law that can stop them and they can be charged for their acts
Luckily, I was never a witness of domestic violence. I think it is always hard when something like that happening in childhood and also that sometimes it is difficult to stop that because the children still have parents and it is not easy to take children away from such circumstances without a legal order.
I hope that people who are around and witness any violence will not be quiet and speak up to stop this, of course, it is not easy but it is something that can safe someone's life. Let's be cautious together and fight any violence.

If they are aware of this, there will be less violence in the environment.
Yes, it is true, people do something because feel that nobody can charge them, I believe a lot depends of the people around who sometimes might notice but just prefer not to be involved. Thank you for reading my post :)
