Contest Alert:1 Picture 1 Story week no 27 - The Unbreakable Trio|| by; v-brainer

Hello everyone here in Steem For Pakistan community. Greetings to you all from this end, i want to trust we are all doing great here, if so then thanks be to the almighty. I am v-brainer and i am so glad to participate in this contest that is been organised by @suboohi in this community "Steem For Pakistan" community.

'One Picture one story' is a contest organized every week that helps us express our feeling thought or view on a particular event or events and happenings. Please ride with me as i share the story of the picture i will also share below.

THE UNBREAKABLE TRIO

---

The unbreakable trio as the title reads is a story of three friends, that is; me and my two other friends Usman and Benji, they are my closest friends during my University days. Usman is from Sokoto State and Benji is from Oyo state, this is why most people tend to be surprised as to why and how we were able to become close friends and funny enough we are all in different departments in school. Maybe the universe has it way of connecting people of like minds together because as for me, i can't give a clear reason why our friendship became so strong but i will only give few hint.

How we met

Back then in hundred level days when i first got to school, i had no friend because i was new to the school and as well new to the town where i schooled. On my second week of being in school, i went to a viewing center outside the campus to watch football and on the course of watching football, i heard Usman analysing the football match we were watching to some other people in the center, i had the same thought on the analysis he was making but the people sitting close to him didn't and so i had to back him up since we had same view. Benji also supported us in what we were saying and so it was more like the three of us again the others.

We walked back to the school together after the match since we already had similar thoughts im common. Talk led to another and we all discovered we stay in the same hostel, are in the same faculty and receiving the same part one science lectures together, that was how we started getting familiar with each other. After that very day, we make sure to go watch football match together and not leaving anyone behind, we do same for lectures and some other activities too.

What Kept Us Going

Some of the reason why we became real friends and not just football friends is because; we had similar thoughts and view on so many things and aspects of life, we are always ready to help each other(financially, academically, morally and so on), we always gat each others back by defending our selves even if the other is not there, we are to some extent selfless and take each other as if we are from one family, these are few of the so many reasons why we kept being friends.

Our Present State

Though we are done with school and have not met physically for a while now but our friendship didn't still break as we do communicate with each other still, social media has made things easier through making group video calls, group chats and so on. We still communicate, advice as well as help each other out on real life situation and challenge. We have also made plans to meet again soon and i will be glad to witness our meeting again.

You attract who you are like the saying goes 'like charge attracts and unlike charge repel' . The kind of friends you make depends on your life style so if we desire to make good friends, we must be good on our own part and improve our life style.
