Contest - Best Diary Game | Visiting my city's 5 star hotel for a meetup with steemians |10-05-23.

Dear diary,

It's finally Wednesday, the day I and a few other steemians had agreed to meet, have fun, get to know each other better and share our ideas and challenges about the steemit platform. This meetup was chiefly organized by @bossj23 and was to take place at Ibom Icon hotel and golf resort, a 5 star hotel.

Morning Activity

I woke up to my alarm clock ringing nonstop at about 4:05am. Apparently I had set the alarm the previous day to ring a little earlier than usual 'cause of the euphoric feeling and expectations I had for the next day. After stopping the alarm, I stayed a little longer in bed to put myself together and plan the day in my head.

Getting up from bed, I said my prayers, washed my mouth, had my bath and set out to fix breakfast. All these I did while being time conscious 'cause I had a whole day planned out ahead.

After having a breakfast of noodles, I got prepared and headed to the place we earlier agreed to meet by 10:30am before moving together to Ibom Icon hotel and golf resort, the 5 star hotel we were to visit. On getting to our supposed rendezvous by 10:00am, I met two of us, @vudeme123 and @whizzbro4eva who came earlier on. We got talking a little while I joined them in waiting for others.

By 11:00am, everyone involved was present and we ordered two bolt ride to take us to our destination. For this meetup, only nine steemians in total were able make it. These nine incredible steemians are; @vudeme123, @davidmarkgeorge, @mmekan, @imohmitch, @uduak3287, @whizzbro4eva, @professorlenz, @bossj23 and myself, @usoro01.

Afternoon Activity

Few minutes before 12, we were all together at Ibom Icon hotel and ready to start our first activity, touring.

We toured around the Ibom Icon hotel, viewing different beautiful sites and taking pictures to keep the memory alive.

Asides taking pictures of ourselves, we also took pictures of beautiful natural views we caught especially the flowers and trees.

After touring for a long while, we decided to settle at a place and have a meeting.

During the meeting, we got to know ourselves better, shared our experiences and challenges in the platform. @bossj23 encouraged us to keep being consistent and putting out quality and educative post irrespective of the number of upvotes we get. He also organized some steem based quizz which involved good rewards for the winners.

Just before concluding the meeting, @davidmarkgeorge did some airtime giveaway which was really appreciated and after that we had drinks and snacks and concluded the meeting.

Evening Activity

We finally left Ibom Icon hotel and headed to the popular Tropicana mall where we also ate and drank cheerfully.

After that, we took some more happy pictures and then departed to our various homes around 6:02pm.

In all, it was a day very well spent with my Steemit family and I hope we do this more often.
