"My Favourite Street Food" .

What is your favourite street food, and where is it usually available?

Now a new concept of street food has come up in our city, these are not set up at various places on the streets but at one particular place, and their new name is "Chaat Bazaar". As the name suggests, here you can find chaat, pakodas, pani puri, dosa, idli sambar, chowmein, burger, pizza, and many more food items at one place, the food here is fresh and very cheap, so middle class people keep coming here.

I don't have any favorite street food, but if I come here with my family then my priority is to eat masala dosa. Sambar and coconut chutney are served with it. It is very wonderful and tasty to eat, and is digested very quickly.

Which ingredients are used to make it?

Generally, a mixture of rice and urad dal flour is used to make it. This flour mixture is spread on a large pan and it is cooked on both sides on medium flame. In the middle of it, potato, onion paste and spices are filled. Then a round roll is made and served on plates. Along with it, sambar cooked with many vegetables and some lentils is also served. And raw coconut chutney is also given with it. This is a typical South Indian dish of our country, but now it is available all over the country. It is very easy to make and its cost is also very low.

What makes this street food special for you? And how often do you eat it?

This street food is very special for me, because I feel a pleasant feeling while eating it, and being a very easy dish and being easily digestible, it does not cause any trouble to my stomach. When other people in my family are eating burgers, pizzas, momos, I eat my simple dish dosa. It gives me a lot of satisfaction. I don't have any rules for eating it but whenever I go out with family, my first choice is dosa. Probably it happens 2-3 times a month.

Would you recommend it to others? Why or why not?

Yes, I would recommend everyone that compared to other street foods, sambar and dosa is very tasty and a very easily digestible food, there is no problem or stomach problem after eating it. It is easily available, it is always made fresh in the markets, it is never prepared in advance. It is made and served on order only. Its price is within our pocket. The potato paste in it is also very fresh, and only as much is made as is expected to be used. The sambar with it is also very tasty and fresh.
